Fo SHIZZLE one of my favorites of this series. although the drumming is technically quite easy (ie, "four on the floor"-style chroruses) it's crazy amounts of fun and the energy is infectious; it just amps me up like little else to play this one, and I think it shows for sure :)

Lad, after 14 years, I still revisit this video, as I massively prefer it over the original. Every time I hear the song on the radio, this cover is the first thing I think of, and how you made the beat so much better. As long as it stays on the Internet, I'll always revisit this. Dude, I downloaded this years ago and here I am, going back in time to comment on this video! KZfaq went bankrupt and closed the site in 2033 but this song still keeps me going

Ok I just can't leave without saying something. I actually watched the 2019 version first. In short, it was probably the best cover of any song I have ever heard on KZfaq. Saying that the double bass drum beat after 2:51 in the last chorus was orgasmic would be an understatement. And the fact that you replicated it perfectly in the 2019 remake is absolutely incredible! Thank you Cobus for doing this song and drumming after all these years!

Years ago I stumbled upon Cobus just watching covers one night. Somehow I came across this one after enjoying some of his other covers. This performance is what sold me on Cobus. You can see in his expression that he loves the music. Some people comment on why he plays some of the songs that he does, but the answer is simple. He loves music. Keep playing, as you will always have a listener in me.

13 years later and that overhead shot at the very end still gives me chills. I would practice your cover of this song in my room every session I had for months after seeing it. This video singlehandedly ignited my passion for drumming and here I am years later making music myself because of it. Thank you so much for giving me the spark, Cobus. I honestly don't know if I would have found it without you.

Watched this again after many years. You can just see the hunger and joy in your eyes when playing. It's such a motivation, not just for drums or even music, but for anything one does in life. Could see from early on you were destined for great things. Veels geluk (congratulations) Cobus!

Every so often I come back and watch this video. The way it comes so naturally to him is so inspiring. I know the part with the cymbals is coming every time, but when it cuts to the overhead view near the end, I get shivers. Cobus has been my inspiration since I saw this video, and it will never not amaze me.

This was the cover I stumbled upon almost 14 years ago now that made me a fan of Cobus and drumming became a bigger thing for me than it ever was. Even after the awesome 2019 remake I come back to this once in a while just for the feels. Thank You Cobus for inspiring tons of people to pursue drums with passion (it's one thing to have a lazy hobby and another to be passionate about a hobby).

I always come back to this video.......being a musician and seeing how he smiles while he plays shows how much he's having fun and the hard work paying off its like he finally nailed a part he was having trouble with and smiles like it was to say "HECK YES I GOT IT!!!!" I have this song on a few of my Spotify playlists. And everytime it comes on, I pause spotify, search for this video and listen to this instead...Then I get absolutely enchanted by the amazing drumming, and I start binge watching Cobus videos...until I realize that I am at work and I can't do that...By which point I reluctantly switch to spotify and keep working...
