Special Presentation!!
In this 50 minute Cockpit Casual special feature, you'll fly along with Bob and Steve as they circumnavigate the globe while moving 2 aircraft: a Boeing 757 from Roswell NM to Xiamen China, then a B767-300ER from Naples Italy back to Roswell. Though not originally planned this way, the Nomadic team deals with a fluid situation in repositioning these aircraft in succession, full circle, in UNDER 5 DAYS!

What a gem your channel is, I'm just amazed by the quality of the videos! I'm probably subscribed to far too many aviation related channels and I'm amazed just how much better your videos are. The camera work is gorgeous and the jazz music oh so soothing. It feels like I'm sitting in a bar with an old friend, listening to his stories. The music choice for the part of the video from Xiamen to Naples was really special. The dirty guitars perfectly encapsulated how you guys just have felt at that point. No proper sleep for days while flying an airplane. These videos are just such a breath of fresh air. No over the top narration, no click bait titles, just someone passionate to tell their story!

The rest of the video is super exquisite, too- love the constant background music adding to the experiences. Very cinematic; what an adventure. Well done!

On this side of the business we work very closely with the engineers. Have learned a lot, and continue to keep several on speed dial as we often have to troubleshoot in the field using video calls etc to attempt to get things moving rather than waiting days/weeks to get someone on-site in obscure locations! We aren’t your typical 121 pilots for sure.

B752 5ET/N185AN is an aircraft I flew on when it was with AA. It is so nice to see 5ET and 5FD (5FD/N194AA) getting a second life as freighters. The 757s don't seem to be as desirable as the 767s for cargo conversion, which makes this such great news for 5ET and 5FD. I always enjoy your videos, but this one was very special to me because of it featuring the two former AA 757s. A little AA history on the two 757s. 5ET/N185AN was delivered to American new in May of 2001 and was the first 757 painted in the new livery. It's last flight with AA was AAL9649/26 PHL-ROW 26March2020. 5FD/N194AA was delivered new to AA in November of 2001 and its last flight with the airline was AAL9651/26 DFW-ROW 26March2020. It's amazing how these two aircraft were brought back to life after 3 years out at ROW. AA's 767/757s still had a lot of life in them and it was so sad to see them retired early in March of 2020. Thanks again for this awesome video!!!

@speedtapefilms I'm sorry to hear 5FK/N175AN is stuck out at Guam currently especially with a typhoon coming. It last flew on 27March2020 with AA. As these 3 aircraft were not leased, I'm guessing reactivate for them wasn't planned until American found a buyer for them.

I was once a young jazz musician, and I listened closely all through the video while you were babbling on about something in the foreground. 😉 Steve, Your Dad and his band are all good musicians and hearing them play was a pleasant improvement over the usual KZfaq musical fare. You were a fortunate young man to have grown up in a musical household, as was I. I've had an interest in Boeing jetliners most of my life. As a kid, my best friend's Dad was a pilot with very high seniority at Pan Am. He was chosen in the early '60s as one of their first group of 747 pilots. Boeing worked closely with those Pan Am pilots, and that's probably where my interest in Boeing jetliners began. My first flight in a 747 would have to wait for over 25 years. In a British Air 747 SP out of SFO, I found myself sitting upstairs in the first row on the flight to Heathrow one night, chatting up a couple of charming (and tired) Flight Attendants, deadheading back home to London. The intimacy of the low lighting in that small upstairs compartment with everyone sleeping behind us helped the 11 hours to Heathrow pass in a flash.
