Yikes. That first one was a person having an emotional and mental breakdown. That's not even a Karen. That's just sad. People think the world is falling apart because of all the bullshit they listen to, on top of however their life is going at the time.. This is what we end up with.

I have dealt with a few of these. I always nicely inform them that nobody cares about them. That they will die lonely and hated. Then if they try to get violent I inform them that their short sad life is about to get a lot shorter. I have zero sympathy for ignorance. Stupidity is an affliction and usually incurable so they get a pass. But willful ignorance and manipulation is met with nothing but apathy and hatred because it is a choice. Before anyone decides to come at me I was raised by one of these. I was punished for "breaking rules" by being locked in a basement for days on end. I was 6. I don't have any sympathy or empathy for it. Also it very much was not a finished basement. I am talking a house built in the 1700's next to a cemetery that had graves from 1680 onwards. There was an old abandoned well in the basement. So basically imagine every horror movie basement and you got it. The only thing I ever got that was close to an apology was "you have no clue how hard it is to raise 3 kids before you are 22". My response was, of course, "I have no clue how hard it is for you to just close your legs then". Long story short if you meet a Karen irl please for the love of god end the encounter asap. Don't feed into it. Don't give them the chance to play victim. If they try make sure you recorded as much as possible and if you need to refresh yourself on your local self defense laws. Because if you are allowed to defend yourself from one of these deranged lunatics then you should do so. You will probably do their family and others they interact with a huge favor.

The car Karen was fair to be frustrated I deal with kids on their loud bikes going round and round, now imagine it's a car revving up in a neighbourhood that has probably children outside or when your trying to get a toddler down for a nap Yea I'd be pissed off as well, it's a great sound until you want a nice peaceful afternoon

Very long story short this woman was mad at me because I couldn't do anything about the service that she was having on her Verizon phone. When i watch these videos i always wonder how i would handle it if one of them came up to me freaking out about something when I'm doing nothing but minding my own business, i would hope i would simply keep my cool and ignore her but i don't know. If they said calling cops i guess i would just stay and not say a word until cops arrived as annoying as it is in wasting my time and tax payers time. Only hope is that they get fined for a false 911 call.

I was working security and I saw this altercation between a white guy with a bat or equivalent weapon and a black guy was cornered and made to sit in place. The white guy was being very aggressive and the black was just sitting there. I kept screaming, "Dude, look at the situation! You're in danger!" As the man with the weapon kept getting nearer to him but yet he didn't react like he did to the black guy who was just chillin. So did the cops. They didn't make the white guy get down on the ground or sit the fuck down. This is the entire difference between white and black people in this country.

The first video is not even a Karen, she knows that a recorded video posted online for clout is a weapon capable of destroying your life, no matter the context of what came before. Thats what shes scared of, being recorded and blamed racist or a "Karen" by a fame hungry asshole for nothing and thats what happened. So I guess her nervous breakdown was justified and thats just sad.

I don't like jumping to conclusions on these 'Karen' videos because we don't know the context for any of them, and it's real easy to watch a video and laugh at someone getting a camera shoved in their face which makes a lot of people uncomfortable at the very least. Sure, the old lady pretending to get bitten by the 'doberman' is obvious nonsense, but many of them are more inconspicuous as far as the context. The trend of 'Karen' videos shows the inattentiveness and sadism of society.
