I was codependent with a vulnerable narcissist for 16 years... I lived in a small fake and incredible world. She discarded me and I was in limbo... Now I see the world for the first time and I'm working on myself. But I feed my codependency with my son and I'm working on that too.

That was great. I think I am more codependant and sometimes have narcissistic tendencies. I notice not many admit their narc tendencies, but from what I can see, most people seem to have them.

I'm a codependent person but after watching your videos I am changing myself a lot, my behavior towards others are changing.the change have hurted me so much. I'm trying to put myself first but I sometimes find it hard and I m trying to balance but I get confused so I speak what I feel. If I m hurting I just say that to people on face. I don't want to become narcissist but maybe I will have a little bit narcissism behavior but I was only hurting myself in any friendship and relationship before recovery..i know I always put blame on myself for every person who feels hurt by me..it is hard I have broken my all friendship and find it difficult to trust anyone..i know over time it will be better..everything happens for a reason..Thanks for your help.

Don’t we need to take care of ourselves ? When I wake up I think about self regulation and survival. I then reach out to others.
@MichelleFarrismft Жыл бұрын
Yes! Taking care of yourself first is key but in codependency that’s a challenge.

I had the one question from you. Can you please tell me if you love someone and someone wants to control your life and spying on you all the times..and seeking the old things so that's a narcissistic person....or very disturbing scenario..?
@MichelleFarrismft2 жыл бұрын
That's definitely controlling behavior and might indicate trust issues in the relationship. That can be a part of narcissistic behavior but those traits alone point more to control issues. Hope that helps!

@@MichelleFarrismft actually it happened with me very brutally and someone broken my feeling deep down and when someone controlling me and also spying on me. I did felt so weird and also adding my Facebook friend too. As she done with me wrong things..and she was controlling me badly way...I was being honest with her.. because I am an preacher on my Facebook page. And she was abusing me and also torching me from my past life... and I did felt so weak and the anxious now I did believed this narcissistic person don't break your body actually they break your soul forever..

@MichelleFarrismft no offense intended. Theres a community of people that have experienced npd, bpd and all the mixes from birth to current form. The ones that escaped and have awareness have a better understanding of the disorder than therapists in my opinion. Therapists watch the movie while victims (lack of a better term) were part of the production. I would gladly be interviewed on my experiences and why i continued to pick them as partners. Because thats the real tough thing to discover. I have a very strong sense of self. I have no identity issues. I dont suffer from any mental health disorders and yet there is a reason i pick them. So if you are ever interested, i'd do a phone call or zoom with you.
