Hey bruh, So cool you still going. Got a small remark, I noticed on your other video (with the iDrive install) that your airvent fins seems UV damaged (its a light colour instead of black). I have restored mine :D with sandpaper and paint (sprayed from can, matt black) But they look exactly like stock. Brand ''Spectrum'' Spray paint matt black.

There are so many features one can add to their vehicle indeed! I am a bit skeptical about putting my roof down if the engine is not running...man my poor battery! But maybe i would come around.So this carly device is definitely added to the "To get" list,thanks for this video.

langa maphumulo yeah so many features to use I would say use the feature on rare occasions to prevent battery wear but atleast it can do it 👍🏾

One time I got home and sat on my key, which rolled down my windows and opened the sun roof in a thunderstorm. Didn’t find out until morning. I almost never want to open everything, but I’d love to be able to close everything with the key when I’ve gotten out and seen my sunroof is still open.

@@CARLISONIT I'll give the coding thing a go. Never want that to happen again. Car was wet inside for a week and the mirrors would randomly fold in and out occasionally for a while after.

For the force break light is it just the break bar (break light on trunk center) that flashes or is it also the tail lights? I want the option to only make the break bar flash please let me know thanks!

Hey bro! I have an e87 and just wanted to ask if you are able to turn off the voltage checks on yours. I guess it's not that alot of a difference with your car. Cause i wanted to install an OEM xenon headlights and after some digging. They all suffer from flickering xenon and angel eyes after they did some wiring costumisations. So maybe if i could turn it off or set the settings on LED, i thought maybe it will lower the voltage. And I'm using bimmercode just to let you know. Thanks in advance!

What if ur key fob is not unlocking or locking but it starts the car 2008 128i convertible?

It sounds like an issue with central locking module, however you should try changing the battery on the key to begin with, also just to ask how many keys do you have and is that the spare key you’re using?

Hmm, things I would change to my e88 would be the closing of the windows and roof using the key. Mine can only open it at a distance now. Add the locking and unlocking sounds. Flashing of the braking lights when braking hard. And closing of the side mirrors, but do all bmw e88 come with folding side mirrors? I don't think mine is motorized..

Motorized mirror equipped cars will have a round button above the window switch. Coding your car to open windows or mirrors with the remote is cool for a short while then it gets annoying because of the delay, & it wears the motors. It's not needed.

Sam that’s a good choice and if you have a small button at the side of the driver side door then it can fold in (not the side mirror position adjustor)

̈ you can set how long you want the delay to be so you don’t have to keep folding the mirrors when you lock the car also if you press the fold button by the driver side door it temporarily deactivates the remote folding side mirrors, when you press the button to unfold the mirrors manually it reactivates it, if you don’t want it to fold when lock or unlock the car you just use the button on the door side as normal or just remove the feature if it bothers you

Hi Carl, i have an 2011 bmw 128i convertible. I bought the carly to use the remote control the convertible top but its not working. I turned all the comfort to ON, and top is not working. :-/ any tips?

R J have you tried taking your key out and putting it into the door to unlock it and lock it manually try unlocking it and holding it for a few seconds if that doesn’t open up then likely will be car trying to preserve the battery which means your car battery voltage may be low

R J I think your battery charge is low and when this happens certain features don’t work maybe try disconnecting your battery for 10 mins then reconnect it this may reset it

You took too long, I now have another little convertible, new shape Audi A3, it's better than the M sport 120d so was the choice for the south of France recently (before the quarantine), but I still have the BMW

CARL IS ONIT Unfortunately some FRM2 and FRM3 modules (produced from ca. 2007 - 2013) have a rare firmware fault. If you see this message in the app when trying to code the FRM, the app has found critical faults in your FRM. As a consequence the app does not allow coding of your FRM
