CoJo is a LEGEND!!! He has been around a long time but no one would give him a record deal because he wouldn't agree to their terms. He wanted to play his kind of music his way. Finally his fan base became so massive without a label that a label finally agreed to sign him on his terms. He is definitely a LEGEND.

i was lucky enough to see this man in the Appalachian wireless arena in Pikeville KY, a local transformer blew, no power for about 45 minutes, plugged his tour bus into the speakers, show went on

He's been around a while. He filled in for Old Dominion at the Houston Rodeo because he was local Texas Country. He sold more tickets once it was announced, and after that he blew up. Me and My Kind, Dance Her Home and With You I Am are my faves. But all his are 🔥

I have yet to hear him sing a song I don't fall in love with. And his duet with Reba on Dear Rodeo should be put on repeat in anyone's playlist who says they like country. Check out Diamond in my pocket, another one of his songs that should have shot up to #1.

As a gal raised in rural midwest USA, I feel I had plenty of chances to learn to appreciate country music as a genre and didn't. Not until very recently. It's just so varied and flexible. You got your feel-good side of the spectrum with margarita-ville, chugalug chugalug, some goofy stuff over there, but then there other side is just chalk full of the most deep, heartfelt, make ya cry songs you ever heard. "Broomstick cowboy", I'm looking at you.

You need to react to Trace Adkins. Arlington is a great song. Also,You’re Gonna Miss This. In that song, it was recorded in his home town and the man at the end is his dad, Aaron Doyle. Grew up knowing him and his family. Also, Rascal Flatts are a great group too.

The girl in the video (the one on the phone) lost her brother unexpectedly. She got "that phone call" while hanging out with friends. He husband goes up to comfort her and she puts him on the phone because she's too upset to talk. The video shows flashbacks of her brother hanging out with his dad, grandpa and friends, basically the point of the video, do those things til you can't because you never know.

Sweet Baby Jesus this one hurt, man it hit me hard. In 2017 I lost my Dad to cancer, it was awful, and there is soooo much I wish I would have said and done. In 2020 I lost my baby brother he was only 27, there was a lot of issues and drama going on and we STILL do not know exactly how it happened. My Momma found him on the bathroom floor. This song though, it’s beautifully haunting.🥺
