I first found Michigan Fine Yarns three years ago as part of the I-75 yarn crawl. it is a beautiful store. so glad it is only a twenty minute drive from me

Lovely yarn! Thanks for sharing! Snow is pretty to look at and play in but I hated driving in it!! I lived in Michigan for many years but have been in Texas for more than 30 years. Have a wonderful day and stay safe!

I live in Romulus and have been to Michigan fine yarns, always a good experience, beautiful yarns great patterns and a nice helpful staff. It is definitely worth a visit.

Jennifer you do have some beautiful yarn that you are showing! That jelly bean yarn is my favorite but also the other Plymouth yarn the three you showed together I think it was coffee yarn. You are so special to show these things you show and you always put a smile on my face and smile 😀

I can relate. I in Loudoun County VA. A misplaced New Yorker. Grew up on Long Island. Plenty of snow. It is ridiculous how they treat snow here. Love the yarns.

It took me way too long after moving to Maryland after growing up in New York to learn to stay off the roads if it snows. They don’t manage snow well and the inexperienced drivers are a hazard.

Michigan Fine Yarns is not especially large but it is packed with so many wonderful yarns and everyone is very helpful. Check Facebook for pictures on the interior.

I was in Michigan in October visiting my family and my sister in law and cousin were bragging about this store and it’s only a couple miles from my moms house but we didn’t make it there, it’s totally on the list of must dos right next to coney dogs, next time I’m able to get up there

Hi Jennifer I am also from MICHIGAN The tailor Warren Michigan area I just Googled Michigan fine Yarns shows you the outside of the building and it also hit the pictures and it gives you pictures of the inside the store. And there's a big bowl sitting on a table with Hank's of yarn in it that oh my gosh Jennifer you will die for its your colors.

Found out by looking at Stonehedge Fibers they are sold at our local LYS. There are two stores in VA that also sell them. One in Alexandria and I forgot the other one. LOL Sadly I think more snow is headed your way. Stay safe.

Stonehedge is between Gaylord and East Jordan. I went there and bought yarn from there. Another fact about them is that provided the yarn for the USA Olympic team. They are very sweet people and are a very small place. Great lady helped me. Her grandmother is still dying yarn. So if you get the chance to visit them you won’t be disappointed.

Stonehedge fiber mills makes the crazy with mill ends from the other yarn they sell. They started making it because they didn't want to waste anything. Crazy is normally 13 or 14 a skein most places.

I have some of that coffee beenze yarn. I have a couple of different colors but I never knew what I wanted to make with it. I think I made something out of one of them but I gave it away as a gift I think. Ive had it a while so its in a tote. I just may have to pull it out and make the JaydaInStitches hat!

I love those coffee beenz yarns you got! I wish I was living back in the states. That would definitely be a road trip for me since I was living in South Carolina before moving to England. You should make leggings teenagers are going crazy over them where I live by Lake Erie it’s cold in Ohio that yarn coffee beans would be awesome. My 15 year old is asking Amazon and the stores are so cheap and not warm. But I love you hat. And hope all is well weather wise in Virginia my prayers are with you. 🙏🏻❤️❤️
