I legit still sometimes stop and think about what an amazing name Seen Through Glass is. Well, in addition to it being an inspired name, Behind The Glass and that name are also hilarious when I look at a show which consists of two nerds in glasses.

As far as the driving road comparisons between the UK and California go. The weather is a huge one. Also the shear size of CA compared to the UK, it's almost double the size. A lot more places to drive.

Sam I think that's good that you're going to make some changes. Especially if some of them revolve around staying closer to home. Not ro get to personal, but I have a daughter who's 8 now and the cliche that time goes by quickly is so true. There's a tight rope and balance you will always walk, and balance between work and family. But if you have the ability to spend more time with your family now you won't regret it. Time truly does fly mate.

Hyundai Tucson - yes they've changed a lot, much more upmarket (especially on the inside), price has gone up accordingly. Think I paid £14'700 for a brand new Sedona in 2004 (it was £13700 without the in-car cinema system). It was for towing with that 2.7 tdi lump 👍

LA is a dump. The amount of homeless people, litter and graffiti, blatent drug use is appalling. I love Big Bear California because of the roads and Santa Clarita which is what California is all about

The key to jet lag is pre-adjusting before the trip, slowly, for at least 5 days (as much as you can do while meeting your obligations). Then adjust by staying up later, not trying too hard to get up early to adjust (at least if you're the type to not manage to get up early every time, thus ruining the attempt). Even skipping a whole night's sleep is easier than spending a week trying to inch your day backwards. For a huge jump back East it's best to just stay awake all night, arrange a day without meetings or appointments where you can go to sleep in the afternoon (or as late as you can after having skipped the last night's sleep), then after you wake up as late as possible but that's still probably around 2-3 o'clock at latest, the next day stretch it to the full day and go to sleep at a 'normal' time like eg. 21:00.

LA - fun place to visit, but it really is not feasible to live there nowadays. You aren't factoring in cost of living there. Perhaps, since you live in London, you could feasibly make it work, but I still think the healthcare, taxes and keeping up with joneses lifestyle will have you back in the UK within a year.

4 college kids were recently killed by a speeding 22-year-old BMW driver who lost control of his car on PCH in Malibu. They are really serious about enforcement now. You can blame that BMW driver for the ticket.

Sam, you’re getting older mate and you’re coming into your own. You sound like me, I just turned 40 and I really don’t like what I do, I went to school to be a Pharmacist and have been doing it for 11 years and it’s just not for me, so I’m trying to change things up myself. No ides of what I’m going to do for $ bc I’m in such debt from school loans, I live at home at 40 like most of my generation but my point is as we get older we just stop caring about what others think or want from us and we do what we want and it always ends up better for our mental health and family even if the change is hard or takes longer than expected.

If you change things up a little Sam be careful not to make content that looks and sounds like 'Me me me me me'. I like your mainstream car launch or testing new models etc and sometimes your other stuff can be a little bit too much of Sam's voice and not enough general content about what viewers might like.
