My good friend and l slayed the kings in that lower stretch a few weeks ago with Ryan. Never touched a coho, but we never lacked for kings for sure. Eggs were the ticket for sure. Like l noticed in your video, no one was around. We giggled and laughed all day at how epic the fishing was despite the low, clear conditions. 🎣 🎣

Ash I noticed when you set the hook. You always hook them with a side swipe hook up. Rather than a vertical hook up. Is there a reason or a preferred way for you? I grew up fishing Tuna, Yellowtail, Dorado and other game fish. I know about laying line down joyride Upriver. Is that part of it?
