Cold start - Straight pipe 1.9 TDI Skoda Fabia vRS (4K 60fps)

It wasn't super cold (1°C), but the car had been standing for a few days.
I filmed this on my smartphone (OnePlus 6T), I'm impressed with the quality.

This was on my recommend but I was the same. My pd100 had a stainless back box which I liked the sound of and get a small black puff come out the exhaust when I started it that you can see on my channel.

It was nothing, two days ago we had -16 degrees in Slovakia and my vrs starts in the morning like nothing :D

I'm surprised how easy that starts being on 141k, mine's on 132k and usually takes a few cranks to start.

Now you mention it, the car does seem to start well. I've seen other videos where they seemingly take ages to fire up. I've heard that the long start can be caused by a faulty camshaft or crankshaft sensor, you'd have to get that checked on yours though :)

@@BenSchofield Yeah you might be right, it's weird as sometimes it starts up straight away and sometimes takes a few cranks. But I've just spent £400 getting it through its MOT so it doesn't really bother me that much haha!

No, not yet. It passes the smoke test and it doesn't look like the cat has been removed.

what exhaust setup, doesnt sound too loud for a straight pipe

Just a standard downpipe with a gutted cat and no rear silencer. It's not the loudest thing going, but I don't think I'd want it any louder to be honest.
