Can't pay back debts, and spending is foolish for companies amidst falling demand. As prices keep falling, people begin to hoard money. After all, if you think something is gonna cost less tomorrow, why buy it today? Unemployed people and falling firms eventually default on their debts, which causes lenders to go under. There isn't anything you can do except either "reflate" (impossible without fiat money) or let the economy collapse.

When huge corporations are the producers of everything, they can make this happen; after all, it can be more profitable than raising wages or paying more for the factors of production.

I havent finished the video, but if anyone knows How does the bank create money with debt? In the real estate example he used, theres a buyer and a seller and the bank is simply an intermediate between them. The seller sells the house to the buyer but obviously the buyer cant pay the full amount so the bank pays the seller the full amount and loans the buyer money in the form of a house. They had to pay their own money to the seller, so how are they creating money? Or is that not how it works?

Sooo, not talking about gold, but research structure. I'm published and have worked on over 100 books over a period of 20 years, and early on I needed a process to keep everything organized. Funny enough, I landed on Word's Outline Mode as the solution. You don't have to use Word. You can use any tool that generates an outline you can reorder, but the principle works well. I start by breaking my ideas down into big chunks, like chapters of a book. Once I've got a good framework down, I start filling in the details under each "chapter", like so: CHAPTER (the BIG idea) - H1 (a big idea inside the BIG idea) - H2 (a component of the big idea) - H2 (another component) - H3 (factors of the component) - H3 CHAPTER Lather, rinse, repeat... Nothing is set in stone, either. Move things around, something that Word makes VERY easy, build out the concepts and ideas until you have a framework that matches up with the idea in your head. Then, when you've reached your first draft, start filling it out. You can apply this process to any project. Just identify the big problems, figure out what you need to solve that problem, then figure out how to use those things to get actually solve the problem. It's also a nice way to prepare notes for documentation as everything you've just researched, prepared for, and processed to completion is documented for you :) Just make sure you update the outline as things change. Hmmm. Maybe I'll write a blog post about this process. Oh, and I also use Trello to organize the outlines and keep track of what's in the backlog, what I have up next, what I'm working on, and what I've completed, all with notes, attachments, checklists, and connections to a wide range of external services like OneDrive, which is where I store all of my projects. There are lots of tools out there that do these things. You'll just have to find the ones that work best for you. That will take time and patience, and I highly recommend you do take the time.
