BU’s Communications program is one of the best in the nation so it’s not surprising that you didn’t get in. What’s truly surprising was that you chose UNC over USC! Good for you to not choose a college merely based on rankings.

@@stranger9774 ohhh seriously? Well then again rankings change every now and then. That just tells us how much more well known USC is internationally.

Congrats on UNC! Out of curiosity why did you apply to ivies/uchicago but not other elite privates like Duke, Northwestern, Vanderbilt, etc.? I know ask because I see a lot of international students applying to a ton of the elite privates.

I did apply to Northwestern! Not other elite schools simply because they didn’t offer my major or weren’t as “good”!

Did you get deferred from Michigan or postponed? "Postponed" is the bogus thing they do to tons of kids because they are understaffed or something. Congratulations on UNC!
