GET THAT COFFE MAKER saved me so much money, gas and time. I also am i pink drink lover and still went out to get them (everytime i went to target) but having coffee whenever i wanted it was perfect

If you spend a lot on Starbucks consider getting a Nespresso or another small espresso maker. I got the Lavazza espresso maker and it changed my life! The way I do it is I use 1 Lavazza espresso pod PLUS the Keurig mini with the kcup of my choice. Pour your espresso in the bottom of your coffee cup first, then add your reg coffee on top. Add in your fav creamer and you’re good to go! The Lavazza pods work out to be around $30 a box. So it seems expensive, but if you’re only using one a day, then they last you a whole month. Where as Starbucks; like four trips is already $30 or more depending on what you’re getting. In the summer time I do two Lavazza pods in the bottom of my clear glass plus one bottled Starbucks frappe drink and add ice, and it tastes identical to Starbucks. In fact, I think it tastes better. Coming from someone who was a HUGE Starbees fan (we’re talking going every day, and always buying the new merch and cups etc.)- using these two small machines at home has been worth EVERY PENNY. And the Lavazza I think was only $120.00 on Amazon. It’s still okay to go out w/ friends for fun and get coffees, but on the daily-worth it! Over the first two months of school you will save yourself so much money!!!

There should be cheap ones at target as well, the one i got has a usb and plus in port built it so you can charge stuff/ plug other stuff in with it. Sidenote they has usb accessories at the entrance of most targets so you can find cool stuff there (like a usb humidifier) only con is that the desk lamp only comes in two colors (as far as i'm aware)

i brought 2 of each (because you can just do laundry when you're out of towels plus you don't have a ton of space). at my school/dorm we aren't allowed to, but def ask bc it depends on each school/dorm.

So I'm planning on attending a university in the fall of 2024, I know where I'm going and I'm pretty set on majoring in music education. I'm going kinda far from my family and that scares me to death. Does anyone have any tips or advice on what to buy or expect? I have a year to prepare 😭

Depending on the area bring clothing which accommodates for the weather! Bring a couple statement things so you don’t get homesick. If you’re living in the dorms I’d suggest getting a mattress topper, complete game changer! Along with some good blankets for the colder seasons and a small personal fan if you tend to be extra hot at night or whenever. In general I’d say make sure you have a hydro flask or thermal bottle to keep your water cold and stay hydrated! (*optional*getting an electric scooter to make traveling to further classes quicker) If there’s anything else you’re curious about you can ask and I’d be happy to answer!

I’m the mom whose daughter moves into her dorm in 2 days. I’m binging videos adding to my Amazon cart. It’s definitely not cheap. I’m amazed by all the things she hasn’t realized she needs. Good thing is that she will only be 45 min away. I think that’s a huge issue-she just assumes she can drive home or to go somewhere we normally shop if she forgets things lol. She’s lucky she will be close by and I’m a happy mom
