When college is over, you will look back and miss these days. I promise! Make the most out of the experiences. In the grand scheme of things, college isn't very long at all. It's going to fly by! Use that feeling of restlessness to your advantage. If you feel like you're not where you want to be yet, that just means your journey isn't over. Your dad's advice was right on time!

It seems like I go through that phase of not feeling accomplished often. Especially since I have kind of had my life planned since I was nine. I just turned 21 and would have sworn I was turning 30 how depressed I was. I'm in school at my local community college but I've always wanted to leave,attend a HBCU, and enjoy my college years. Still plan to but that's one of the reasons I love your channel, gives an insight. Don't be too down though enjoy these years while you can because a lot of people look back and say "What I would of done differently was attend college" and I hope you find some girlfriends soon that makes things kind of easier to deal with. I wish I had some friends too lol its hard sometimes finding genuine people now of days. Hey will you be doing another "Girl Talk" video at all?

I still liked this vlog! And college can be depressing lol. I graduated and I still don't have my degree because I owe the school just under $2000. I'm paying that plus loans, and I live on my own so I have other bills too, otherwise I would've been paid it off. So I'm in a job not using my degree and it really gets to me but I just keep working hard and know that one day I'll be where I want to be.

I understand you are young and you're not where you want to be, but your channel is an outlet for others to come and relate to. A lot of your vlogs remind me of my first years in college and the struggles I faced. You don't want to rush and be in the real world just yet, so just be patient and continue to progress in a positive manner..you're doing great :)

The dorms in F.I.T are small... And they are between 9th and 10th ave.. Such a bummer.. When u get to NYC.. U'll see what I mean :).. But don't be so hard on urself.. We understand u r still a college kid.. Ur videos r of quality substance and quality and that's all that matters. I went to HSFI.. The highschool to F.I.T and the industry is COMPETITIVE.. Alot of my friends who just made it to the bottom have been doing this since they were 14.. You are going to feel like that alot.. And imagine when u get to NYC and ur competing against girls who parents are friends or live in the same building as Ralph Lauren.. At the end of the day.. All u need is drive and passion. When u get here.. Network ur a** off!.. Burn no bridges.. And market urself... U have such a huge advantage having a YT channel and following. You'll be fine.. Dont worry.

I totally agree with sometimes thinking college is in the way. I am going to school for Public Relations and sometimes I feel as if I'm not getting anything from it because it's not a common career such as being a teacher, or a nurse, or a doctor. And I feel like the only way I am going to make it is if I get out there and receive the experience hands on. So that is totally understandable but do not give up, THOSE TWO YEARS ARE GOING TO FLY BY!!! I recently spoke to my advisor and was told I only have 42 hours left before graduation, it's not at long as it seems. So hang in there it'll be here before you know it!

For everyone including myself since I'm only 21, we aren't supposed to have our entire life figured out in our 20s! Don't forget to have fun and enjoy the small moments because the college environment and experience is something you will never get again after it's over. I get my down days all the time and wish for school to just be done or stressed because a certain thing didn't go my way but I'm young and we have time to make it right! Good luck to us all

It also snowed where I'm at as well. Them shoppers weren't playing about the snow, they snatched that meat up! Yes I feel the same way I'm a sophomore in college too and I see other ppl who are the same age as us and doing so much. I feel like all I do is school and I want to be more active with KZfaq bt school is so much. I just have to remind myself that everybody has different paths in life the ppl who I see doing so much could have been in the same position that I'm in . I just stay positive and know that everything I want will come in time so I just work hard and have faith that everything I want will happen and it will !!!

I'm 23 and I'll be 24 this year and I wish I would have did the college experience but me and my high school sweetheart moved in together and started a family , but every experience is not for everyone and I know that now, but you are doing great and so much at a young age don't feel discouraged because even though I'm a mother of one soon to be two i still have lots planned and lots I know I am going to do , just with two Minnie's by my side 😉 keep up the great work

I'm 23, basically 24 and I am no where near where I want to be in life & it gets me down sometimes as well! I've finished college & everything and i'm just feel like, ok,now what??! Things just haven't been going as I envisioned/planned but you are doing great Jayla!! Far better than I was at 20! Lawd if I could be 20 again!! lol Your talents will take you far! I feel the same way. I am 23 basically 24 and I am not were I want to be. But you know what ....you live and you learn. Just live life and do what makes you happy. Stay focused and forget what everyone around you has going on. Do not compare your accomplishments to others. Be true to yourself and set small monthly goals.... Accomplish those first and then watch how close you get to "being were u wanna be". It works. Be blessed.

Girl! Your channel is doing great! You don't have to be decked out with your background and stuff because your personality and demeanor is enough! Don't be too hard on yourself because your channel is progressing.. Like you starting these vlogs that gets alot of views! You put up alot of videos being in college too, so! Your successful lol
