Join us for a gravel ride, starting at Columbus Belmont State Park, in Hickman County, and heading north into the Doug Travis WMA, and into Carlisle County. This route is estimated to be 50% gravel. Birders will love this route. On our ride, we saw Bald Eagle, Mississippi Kite, Red Tail Hawk, Egret, Great Egret, Great Blue Heron, Turkey, and other species. The gravel roads have high sand content and can provide a lot of rolling resistance in wet conditions.
