Paul, I read recently that the U.S. has about 1,000 M2 Bradley fighting vehicles sitting on storage lots, gathering dust & rust. Ukraine says they need all the Bradleys we can spare. And we have TONS to spare. Why aren’t we sending them another 500, if they need ‘em and we don’t?

Remember the 13 new brigades for the counteroffensive? Nothing gained. They've lost more land since. For months they've lost little by little and it was dismissed as not important. If the west is serious about ending the war, they should actually try to end the war by giving Ukraine what it needs and not give it months later. F16s and Abrams were red lines until they weren't.

Only the West/Atlantic countries (plus Poland and Baltics) have been serious in their aid to Ukraine. Even the committed aid is not delivered on time. US is caught in the MAGA circus.

Yes, this has worried me since the retreat from Bakmut when I wondered how poorly the Russian army would be supplied and how bad morale could be before we (Ukraine) would be able to mount an offensive. If we can't make progress against the Russian army at that point, God help us if they ever got their shit together. With the real possibility of eroding US support after the election and continued European weakness I worry about the future.

It is. If they get enough equipment. If the existing units gets enough equipment. And if all the equipment is actually allowed to be used in the most effective way. Add in a few, very few F16, if equipped with the good stuff and allowed to actually hit the targets they need to hit, add in Russia's mounting economical trouble, one will see a russia in very big problems soon. November is going to be a very interesting time to follow this. If trump loose, I think it is a good chance that we will see Russia starting to try more seriously to get out of this mess.

Looks like they have given up the “ Deep Battle “ concept. All the battle footage I see reminds me of World War I . It amazes me how the drone has destroyed tank warfare as we know it. Should fired weapons were always a threat to tanks. The drone has in my opinion disarmed the main battle tank. To me, this is a game changer for everything

I just watched the Russian assault on the position held by the AZOV brigade. Very detailed video which showed that not a Russian vehicle or a Russian person survived the attack. It was a total massacre in the real sense. I think that was near Chasiv Yar.

7:15 In 2023 Ukraine has formed up to 18 new brigades, the exact number is unknown, but only four of them took part in so called counteroffensive which in fact never happened. Meaning that most of those brigades are completely intact and remain somewhere in strategic reserve.

Ukraine doesn't have enough volunteers/ conscripts to fill 10 brigades.. Convicts will have to fill these companies to make up a brigade sized unit.. They have enough draft dodgers in Germany and Poland to fill at least 2 divisions ,though

The Americans have supported Ukraine way more than any other country has done. What did Europe and other allies like Canada really do during the 6 months the USA delayed armament and ammunition deliveries mainly because the Republicans were trying to stop millions of illegals entering their country without discernment by the Democrats. Slava Ukraini and Glory to the USA from Canada.

If those 10 new brigades have 8 drone brigades then they will be more than enough to beat the invaders back If they are all infantry brigades then they are targets for russia & customers for undertakers. Ukraine only need 36,000 FPV UAV troops to hold the entire country and push the russian front lines back. What they need more than kit for the brigades, is generals who understand how to deploy UAVs to their best advantage

How many troops per brigade?, full capacity or less given the manpower limits of the Ukraine. At this point in time Russia has regained the offensive edge. The Ukraine has to counterattack smartly and turn the tide of the war soon.

While current brigades struggle to fill there ranks and many are short on field artillery and armored vehicles why would forming 10 new brigades be a good idea ? No idea but it definitely looks good for social media

Interesting video on two Chinese volunteers to the Russian army in Urkaine, the caveats from the video I got were: 1. Russian dont let you go when the contract is over. 2. As foreign volunteers they put you in Storm Z units. cannon fodder. 3. The basic pay is 195K rubles per month...or 2200 USD with a basic stipend of 50K rubles or 566 USD per month. Also there are bonuses like 50K rubles or 566 USD for every Ukrainian soldier you can prove that you killed , 300K rubles or 3400 USD for destroying a tank, and 250K rubles or 2800 USD for destroying drones, kzfaq.info/get/bejne/iMdlqdKetc6nh5c.html
