In this video I restore a genuine antique combination tool. The tool serves as 4 different tools. A pick for cleaning black powder debris from the flash hole, a wrench to remove the musket cap, a spanner wrench for the spanner nut that retains the hammer (bun nut), and a screwdriver blade.
First I start off sandblasting all the rust away. Then I move on to fixing the bent tip of the pick, I do this by heating it with a torch then hammering it straight. Once the pick is straight I wet sand all the contact points of the tool with 400, 600, 1500 grit. Next comes polishing the sanded parts to a mirror finish. Finally I use some cold blueing liquid to blue the body of the multitool.
I hope you guys enjoy, if you do leave a like and a comment. Subscribe if you would like to see more awesome content ;).
