I am in a very dark place, hurting, ashamed of sin, broken-hearted, weary, lonely. I feel guilty for not living up to the standards I’ve set for myself, and burdened by all of the pain from my life. Everything is heavy; yet I keep on loving, forgiving, and giving like Jesus because that’s what I’m called to do. Lord, guid me through this darkness and help me come out of hiding into your loving embrace🤍

There’s this song I really called “Broken Things” and some of the lyrics go “Now I’m just a beggar in the presence of a king. I wish I could bring some much more but if it’s true you use broken things then here I am Lord I’m all yours.” ❤

Thank you for sharing this… it was much needed. I keep falling into the same sin… every other weekend. I’m tired of asking for forgiveness. I’m tired of making the same mistakes. Especially after all God has done for me. I’m ashamed and disappointed in my actions, and I feel like I’m all out of chances. I can’t seem to stop and I just want to give up and hide. But I also don’t know who I am or what my purpose is without him… so I’m just stuck.

Yesterday, as I held my crying 2 months old baby in my arms, I sang some worship songs and watched her relax and fall asleep in my arms .. she was so relaxed, and God reminded me how he is like that to us.. he holds us and comforts us and makes us feel loved and safe in his arm .. It's crazy that he confirms me again in this video .. I guess i have been worrying too much of many things but God is good .

We adopted a 1 year old street cat over a year and a half ago. He also went right under the bed when we brought him home. I started to spend time with him every day, feeding him and playing with him in the bedroom. Eventually he started to come out and now he is a happy part of our family.

Today I had a rough morning and I was crying out to God for strength. He did bring me through, but it wasn’t like a giant revelation, the day just slowly got better. How do we get to the point where we trust God with every part of our hearts?

I feel bad because I feel like I should never be in this place again but I know that as long as we are on this earth we will go through different seasons and it’s just an opportunity to draw closer to God and grow deeper in my relationship with Him. GRACE! It's only the grace of God you can repent and get free from sin. Caught unawares and with no further chance to repent and turn from sin to obey Jesus, many die in fornication, adultery and other deadly sins and will suffer eternal punishment.

Two facts may make everything easy: 1) There is no such thing as a Hiding place - for us it is because we can see light and dark- but God doesn't because He is Light and there is no darkness therefore everything is open before the eyes of Him who created us. So treat yourself like those news footages where they show the police helo is shining their spot light on the villain and loudspeaker says "no where to hide put your hands up and stay where you are". 2) Don't set yourself your own standard regardless of how lofty and honorable they are- don't suffer from a guilt complex. No one will equal the same standard as Jesus in this life hence He gave us His spirit. It works like the technology in your car- emergency braking or traction control ONLY work when they sense you have lost control OR losing control. Remember, the reason Jesus died is to free us from a guilty conscience- which is different from sin consciousness. Year after year the Jews had to repeat their sacrifices whereas our Lord did this once for all to not only deal with sin but the guilt complex.

So many red flags, including 'Neo'. Come on folks.
