You guys asked for more - so I'm here to deliver! This week's episode I'm bringing you along with me as I go thrift/vintage shopping. I've showed glimpses of my thrifting trips in a couple of videos, but this entire episode is dedicated to my love of treasure hunting. After I finish shopping, then I show you guys what I purchased and wrap up the video with how I styled several pieces throughout my home. Strawberry Mint Lemondade w/Gin
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup fresh squeezed lemonade
- 1tbsp strawberry simple syrup (add 1 cup of sugar + 1 cup of water to a saucepan. Heat on medium until sugar dissolves. Turn heat down to low, simmer for 20 minutes. Remove pan and allow syrup to cool. Add in 1/2 cup of cut strawberries and smash into syrup a bit. Pour into a mason jar, screw on the top, and let sit preferably overnight in the fridge.
- 1 shot (2oz) of gin
- Several mint leaves
- Lemon slices for garnish
Instructions:
In a shaker, add in the simple syrup and mint leaves. Muddle mint leaves into the syrup to release the oils. Add in lemonade, gin, and ice. Shake and pour into glass. Garnish with mint and fresh lemon slices. Enjoy!
