Yay my favorite type of video and in my home turf - I have been to the Currumbin Creek Op Shop so often that I even recognised the voice of the lady who told you everything was $1 - lol she gives my dogs treats every time we call in. They are so well priced that the have ruined other op shops for me and I often find great sheets / fabric and vintage patterns there. There is another one in the industrial estate a bit further along currumbin creek road that is worth a look - not as cheap but she has some really good quality stuff sometimes. Also there is a suitcase rummage at Dust Temple (cafe next to Gather) on the night of the 11th that should be good, has live music and people selling stuff from their wardrobe - lots of retro goodness last time I went. I also didn't know the antique shop in Cooly is closing - I love that place and will miss it

Hahaha that’s amazing you recognised her voice. She was SO lovely!! Oh yes I’ve been meaning to go to that next one up since it opened. Next adventure! I’m gonna tell me friends about the dust temple night. Sounds like such a vibe! So sad about the cooly store. Spoke to the owner and he said a new landlord took over and only gave then 1 month notice to get out so they don’t even have a new location lined up 😢 I have a feeling they might already be closed!

the dark spray paint would give it an awesome, more classic look! You could also paint is a more earthy, brassy color to fit the natural look of your space!

Yeah I’ve actually painted it dark since filming this and it looks terrible in our space hahah does not suit it at all. Going to try a more earthy tone like you mentioned instead now! ☺️

Waow so much wonders... The navy set with the tropical printed leafs is just AWSOME 👍👍👍 The books too 😳😳 Very good choices. I enjoy and laugh when your "chéri" finds and smells the jasmine 🤣🤣🤣👍(my toodler do the same and me too) Biiises de France 😘❤

Agreed that there’s nothing wrong with it as is - actually quite a nice tone of green! It’s just a bit scratched up close so will be nice to clean it up 🤗

The wash dye garment is the most beautiful fabric! I think a two piece would be awesome as a little cropped long sleeve top and skirt number, but would also be a really cool party dress. Is there enough fabric to have it all?
