On Sunday, September 29, 2019 they had a screening of the new film "Come To Daddy" starring Elijah Wood at the Egyptian Theatre in L.A.----part of the annual "Beyond Fest"...
After the screening, both Wood and the director of the film, Ant Timpson, did a live Q & A with the audience. The sound could probably be clearer, but this is the best it turned out. (There was actually another person who was recording the Q & A with much more professional camera equipment, so hopefully that video might surface on KZfaq soon, I would think the sound would be much better...)
Around 26:55 is when I got to ask Elijah a question myself, basically about the type of films he is making these days...he has always credited his mother in past interviews for setting limits and keeping him grounded when he was growing up, so I was curious as to what she thought of some of the truly DERANGED films he is making today ("The Greasy Stangler", "Maniac", "Cooties", "Mandy", and now this film, which has a rather graphic dick-stabbing scene!)
To me, his best will always be "The Good Son", both him and Macaulay Culkin were a blast to watch reacting off each other...wish they would someday make a sequel (but I highly doubt that will ever happen...), lol!
