While performing at a theater in Pennsylvania, a few people wouldn't stop responding verbally to everything I said...and I snapped. Mike Albanese www.inmyownhea... / bigmanmike / bigmanmike

Added a new video where I ended up working the crowd the whole time and got some people an internship at a tech company by the end of the set: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/b7yklbFnuZ6rdmQ.html

Looked up comedians arguing with audience after I saw the biceps comedian on Cr1TiKaL's channel, this was much more positive. Better use of my time than watching people get angry. What was I thinking?! Good clip

This is all a planned bit, which I love, because the audience gets involved and thinks its improve or off the cuff. You can also do a callback on this later in the routine. Just randomly shift towards the lady and yell RHETORICAL QUESTION!

You didn’t even ask a question and she was still responding! That is definitely too much. I gotta say though there are comics out there who do actually want some kind of response. I saw Arsenio a couple years ago and he wanted interaction to fuel the set. Then I saw a local comic recently who set things up very much the same way as Arsenio, like “So who here has seen” whatever, AND he looked around at everybody and waited several seconds silently.... and got irritated at the word ‘yeah’, which I mean, he just wasn’t making it sound rhetorical to those of us who have seen comics who intentionally interact with the crowd like Todd Glass. Also he wasn’t nearly as funny as you.

Some people don't understand stand-up comedy. Some think it's part of the game being a piece of shit heckler. Comedians don't want hecklers. Your not providing a service. You are being an ignorant piece of crap. And also some hecklers need to do it to feel power.
