This reminds me of how Trump wanted norwegian imigrants, and the norwegian answer was basicly "Go there to lower our economy, risk more crime and put our standard of living down several peggs? No thanks."

@heli ryot Id suggest you try to go to Norway instead. There you will get a place to live, help to learn the language, money to live on while you learn language and getting ready to go into the job marked. Become a citizen after 8 years, maybe less if you marry someone that is Norwegian. Get full rights to lifetime of healthcare, if you get sick the country will take care of you etc. I would suggest you try scandinavia and alot of other European countries before you settle with USA. The US system can be really harsh and brutal, specially if you have darker skin. Sure racism exist in scandinavia too, but you have rights. Noone can fire you from a job just cause he does not like you, he has to have a good legal reason. And usualy if you get fired you have 1-3-6 months to find a new job depending on your contract, so you still have a job while looking for another. Its not like US where boss says you are fired and you have no more job. Its much less of a brutal system.

I have served tourists from all over the world. The worst by far are North Americans, being loud obnoxious and demanding immediate service rather than waiting for their turn. Its a daily occurrence. Thus far the best tourists i have encountered are the Japanese and the South Koreans. They seem to have a real passion for the traveling asking about what its like to live in the UK, nice places to visit ect and always treat staff with respect.

It's funny how the greatest and most powerful country on Earth apparently never has houses with sufficient power to power a _proper_ electric kettle, due to their wimpy 110 volts. And how their pre-HD television was 480 lines instead of the vastly superior 576 of PAL. And how their football team didn't even qualify for the World Cup 😄

It's about, 'in-group bias.' The stronger it is, the less that group thinks of other groups, and the worse they treat them. They seem so different, that it's even easy to get the group to treat outsiders, as sub-human. It's also easy, to quickly manipulate the group into hating other groups, inciting a potentially violent conflict, and severely reducing the chance of diplomacy. It also, makes them less likely to listen to reason. It's extremely dangerous, because it's an intrinsic part of all forms of prejudice. It is present in, patriotism, racism, sexism, religious fundamentalism, etc, etc. It is also, the core method used by politicians, which is destroying America's democracy! It's killing freedom, through aggressive conformity. If it weren't so powerful, in America? Then Trump would never have been elected! His base, don't listen to the arguments. They're ignorant, but loyal to the team, no matter what! The more special they think the team is, the more special they think they are, the more blind their loyalty becomes, and the more they look down on outsiders. Russia, understands it. That's why they picked Trump! The 2-party system, obviously exacerbates the problem. And, it's now caused the left to begin to show similar symptoms, as the right!

Role models and even rivals are powerful motivators. Imagine two serious athletes, musicians, academics or even magicians with two different attitudes; Person 1 believes there are people far better than them in their field but hope to one day be among those greats, while Person 2 believes they are already the best and anyone who says otherwise is wrong. Person 1 will constantly be pushing themselves trying as hard as they can to become better, while Person 2 will believe they just need to keep doing what they always have because they're already the 'the best'. Perhaps this is why America is so backwards in a lot of ways, thinking they're the greatest country in the world has stifled their motivation to actually improve.

So true, as somebody who isn’t from America I have always kind of admired Americans ability to be confident and their self belief even though it is massively arrogant and obnoxious. Where it falls down however is when you think you are the best you have nothing driving you to continue to be the best because you think you are already there. Most Americans think America is the greatest country in the world because they haven’t been anywhere else. But what do you expect when you pump 300 million people full of propaganda for 50 years

America its exceptional its number 1. Until Americans start to admit they are not either of these, things are only going to get worse

I'm from Trinidad & Tobago W.I. Now we like the USA however, We are provided with free education all the way to University PhD, health care & lots of Gov't assistance.... this is due to our vast Oil & Gas. fields & hydrocarbons.. & road Pitch. just to name a few 😊

Why is it even necessary to rank everything? Which color is the best? Which meal tastes best? Which is the best song ever written? See, those are all questions with really individual answers - depending on taste and culture So, on what benchmarks is the claim standing on?

Boi A - There is no such thing as the best country. While you can determine the best country in certain categories you cannot really determine the best country overall because there are way too many factors that would influence this ranking.

I will willingly move to any country in the world - as long as it's one of the Nordic Countries! 😂 But I'd probably prefer Denmark or Sweden! Preferably live in Malmö and then work in Copenhagen!

Just by saying your country is number 1, you are saying every other country is inferior. Is it any wonder why there are so many racists in America?
