Pizza Pinwheels AND Bacon Cheddar Ranch Pinwheels

Pizza Pinwheels
8 ounces cream cheese
1/2 cup pizza sauce
1 cup pepperoni, diced
1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
1/4 cup green pepper, finely diced
1 cup shredded mozzarella
tortillas
Blend cream cheese and pizza sauce. Stir in pepperoni, onion, green pepper, and mozzarella.
Spread 1/4 to 1/3 of mixture onto a tortilla. Spread to the edge but leaving about one inch uncovered at the end of the tortilla. Tightly roll up the tortillas. Repeat with another two or three tortillas until all the mixture is used.
Cover or wrap tightly and refrigerate at least two hours. Slice and place on serving platter.
Bacon Cheddar Ranch Pinwheels

scant 1 cup mayonnaise
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup bacon
1/2 cup pecans, finely chopped
3 green onions
1 1/2 Tablespoons Ranch Mix
tortillas
Blend cream cheese and mayonnaise. Stir in cheddar cheese, bacon, pecans, onions, and ranch mix.
Spread 1/4 to 1/3 of mixture onto a tortilla. Spread to the edge but leaving about one inch uncovered at the end of the tortilla. Tightly roll up the tortillas. Repeat with another two or three tortillas until all the mixture is used.

We are doing lower carb diet and I make pinwheels all the time, low carb tortillas, cream cheese, finely chopped ham, green onion, shredded cheese and small amount mayo with a tbsp of the ranch powder, thank you for a new idea to make so we can have the pizza flavor. I agree with some of the others, I love the way Tom explains the recipes he makes, I truly feel like I could come to your door and would be invited in to sit at your table. Like going to visit family members of my childhood in the hills of Kentucky. Thank you so much!!!!!

I have made various pinwheels before, but I never thought about combing all the ingredients before spreading! Duh! lol! That s a game changer for me. I have avoided making them more because it takes so long to layer each ingredient! And they fall out easily too!

Of all the cooks that I follow, and watch on here, and I have some favorites, i love his ending statement the best! It is so hospitable and is just the perfect show of true southern hospitality and neighborly, in a world where kindness and love for your fellow man is lost. I just discovered your channel about 2 weeks ago. I'm so glad I did. I made the pizza pinwheels to pack in my granddaughters lunch. We used the mini pepperoni instead of chopping regular size pepperoni and that worked well too. Thanks for sharing!

Thank you for sharing your rolling up technique of these pinwheels. I made them before, and I had no luck. The tortilla would not roll well and would become dry and not stick well. The whole pinwheel would be dry and not holding together. Thank you for this technique. By looking at your tortillas, I think it also has to do with the tortillas that you were using to roll the pinwheel with. Both of your pinwheel recipes sound wonderful. I'm going to try them. This is a good Super Bowl appetizer

We make a version of those, but do buffalo chicken ones. Cream cheese, buffalo sauce, green onion, chicken breast cooked shredded fine and bacon, bit of garlic powder, mozzarella cheese. Wrap in tortilla just as those.

Looks great. Have you ever tried using thread or dental floss to slice these? Put the thread or floss on the bottom of the roll, cross the thread or floss at the top and pull through. This may help keep the pin rolls round. This is a great way to cut the dough on cinnamon rolls.

These look yummy 🤤. Question have you ever baked them in the oven. Like sit them down in a casserole dish and sprinkle with a little cheese and put them in the oven to heat through until cheese is just melted . Just another idea maybe.
