The first comic cleaning video!
This is just basic tools but there are more where that comes from! Let me know any questions about comic book cleaning or pressing in the comments. Eventually, I’ll be doing an entire Q&A video! Launching a Discord next month as well, we can show progress on books, get tips and just show off there! It should be a really fun thing for the community and I look forward to it. This was an amazing video from start to finish. I watched this video at least three times and took notes. Thank you for taking the time to show so many different things. I think sometimes we all forget about the small steps like cleaning off the areas that we are working on or around before we start any process.

Awesome video!! Thanks for sharing your experience with us. This is a great introduction to cleaning comics. I just recently bought some comics that definitely need to be cleaned. I would definitely buy a cleaning kit. Great idea to have different ones for different levels of experience. Keep up the great work. 😎

that is an AMAZING IDEA!! no one I know is doing starter cleaning kits... DUDE U JUST OPENED UP A MARKET FOR THE MASSES. I would deff buy a kit.. and maybe design a logo for you to put on your kit haha maybe...now u need a catchy name for the product like "Tessa's Totally Rad comic book cleaning kit or something haha

Awesome, awesome idea for the makeup brush!!! I use microfiber clothes, however, going to get a makeup brush and add that to my toolbox of cleaning/pressing supplies!!

I would love to have a kit if you end up putting one together! What are your thoughts on art gum erasers? Are they similar to the Moo eraser you use? You are so right it is amazing that some of these books survived! We are so lucky to have them!

Can't stress the cleaning the press before hand. I [ressed an ASM 94 thinking the press was clean and ended up with indents that have to be rollered out now. /cries. Even if you think it's clean, clean it anyway. Those alcohol wipe on plates and then air out for a minute are good.

If you have metal plates, sanding them down before you start to use it as well!

That's fun. I'm so new to this but I had everything you showed. A kit would be nice. Finally found the bag eraser at hobby lobby. Do you use any liquid cleaner on your books? I bought some stuff off a guy on ytube and I love it. Oh yeah the magic eraser, wow I took the color off the book first try. It's still in my cleaning drawer, haven't needed it since
