Storm was *always* a powerhouse since the start. They constantly hinted at this and sometimes showed it whenever she "lost control of herself". The reason she's more important now is because Charles has taken a backseat. He always coddled her and was afraid of letting her take charge even though he not only knew her potential but specifically made her his 2nd hand. Now that Chuckie's "Bruce Banner-esque" emo issues aren't holding them back, Storm is finally doing what she was meant to do in the first place.

And from Chris Claremont’s own mouth (the man that created Ororo Munroe), her power always had the potential to be equal to that of The Phoenix! 🤯 I don’t think she’s there yet, but she’s getting close and with her new solo coming out promising to show her true goddess status…I think there’s still more to see and learn about The Goddess!!!

@@uniquebfly in the solicitations it's mentioned that Eternity had plans for Storm so who knows she might get a power boost . She was able to preserve Eternity's mind in her own mind in one of FF4's issues ,when she was married for T'Challa .

@@uniquebfly I don't mind her being equally capable to the Phoenix, but i don't want her to become another "all powerful" type unless similar to the Phoenix, Ororo is more like an avatar for "The Goddess". If Storm actually becomes something like that, it will cheapen her character.

I like that Cyclops is The OMEGA mutant. Not in power levels, but the X-men begins and ends with him. First on the field, last one to fall.

Cyclops is more useless than Blackbolt. At least with Blackbolt, he can use his power to augment his strength, fly, increase durability the list is long and when used directly it's far more devastating than cyclops eye beam.

Theres a thor comic from this era that demonstrates in no uncertain terms the gap between thor and storm. he literally asks the lightning she strikes him with to stop hitting him, and it does. Nevermind that it had no effect on him at all

Interesting point about the original (time traveling) Nimrod. As it was around people longer, he changed and stopped being just a robot that attacked/killed mutants. He took a human persona (Nicholas Hunter) was worked a construction job. At this point he wasn't looking for a fight or even to cause trouble, he was trying to help people. Then he ran across a piece of the Master Mold and it took over his body and he did NOT like it at all and was actually cheering on the X-Men who were fighting it. Then we got the whole Siege Perilous thing that turned him into Bastion. I always had an idea that Bastion was only the Master Mold and that Nimrod got separated from it, but that never happened. 😥 sm

It IS a pity it's all so rushed. But mostly, the payoffs feel right. Storm is absolutely the queen right now and her totaling all the Nimrods is so satisfying. The Dominion's nemesis being the Phoenix was hinted at by Hickman back when he first introduced the concept in Powers of X, so it feels long overdue. Since we first saw Jean in the White Hot Room, we've all known that she's being saved for Enigma, but it's been poorly paced. Hopefully will read better when all collected. But i've LOVED the Krakoan era as a whole, and your vids have deepened the enjoyment. Many thanks my brother! 🙏🏾

This doesn't feel rushed at all. It is a culmination of events across the last year or so of events. I get that you may want more, but that doesn't mean what you have currently is bad, rushed, forced, or any other negatively connotated expression.

@@deeman010gdj in this particular instance this story is not rushed. Rob even said he wants one shots of individual characters fighting Nimrod, that is not the solution to a "rushed" story. That is simply wanting more story. The fall of X started all the way back with the HellFire Gala about a year ago. Since then we have had several stories from several perspectives including Iron Man. This portion of the story has been fleshed out as completely as could be and must reach a conclusion. So as I said, this story is not rushed. I want more too, but that doesn't mean the story is rushed.

What up homie, hey again great vid with amazing narration emphasizing characters and moments with bios that u feel r important awful, or just feel is DOPE, worth mentioning, or just fucking cool!! And you’re always right about what we want to see. However I have just a tiny bit of constructive criticism. You should just make two edits of each video that are going to be on a playlist for complete story arks. This way when someone is watching an entire (story arc playlist( SAP) they don’t have to listen to you explaining a character or an event over and over and over again in every video on a (SAP). and if want to take a video from a playlist and post it as a one off, you can edit the same video, adding in those explanations. 🤷🏽‍♂️ just an idea.

Just look at where the mutant's powers come from to truly see their potential. Storm can control the earth's atmosphere, so if she'd go berserk she could end all life on earth. She literally has the power to control the air we breathe, how much water is available to drink, and can control the hottest form of heat on earth: lightening. She's almost like a living planet.

It does feel like they brought it to a close a little quickly, but I think they did it really REALLY well. This is infinitely better than defenders or how they handles the most recent story with the beyonder. I noticed it felt like a loooooot was going on for a while there. The trial of Cyclops, the war on orrako, the children of the vault, ect. I think bringing it to a close so they can focus on the story line they built up the most (enigma) is the right plan.

Nimrods power is plot armor. Hard to beat a character, whose powers change by the writers will. While you can compare powerful characters in marvel and DC. They all got weaknesses. Meanwhile Nimrods power just changes to make him seem powerful.

I been waiting for this, after looking at this, people need some more respect on Cyclops Scott Summers, "the one X-men thats always the last one standing" that being Cyclops. Man I respect and love this character even more now. When Storm pulled up, OH MY GOSH SHE WAS STANDING ON BUSINESS, Cyclops and Storm became the dynamic duo in that fight, i love Storm so much, this just give me more of a reason to love her.

Yes rushed but still dope Rob! Imagine if was put into the MCU I’d pay to see the 2 to 3 movies it would be stretched out to make the story work… though some things are just best left to comics “The Eternals” comes to mind and many more but if they could make the movie more for adults like with actual swearing, kill fight scenes and more I’d definitely be interested at the very least. His blasts dont work like that though. If he could stop himself because of his blasts, he would break his neck the first time he fires a big blast. He should've broken his neck with that X-Men '97 stunt.
