That's somewhat possible. In Batflek's visions concerning Parademons, Superman says something like, "She meant the world to me, and now she's gone because of you!" Superman is then shown landing a fatal punch on Batflek's abdomen, just like how Supes killed the Joker in Injustice. And then there is the thing with Flash time travelling and warning Bruce about how "Lois Lane is the key to everything" or something like that. Sounds somewhat like Injustice-inspired teaser. But still, there are many other possibilities as well, so I'm not holding my breath for the Injustice plotline being adapted to the big screen.

If this is where Synder wanted to take the DCCU, that's even worse. One of my biggest complaints is that he didn't get the character of Superman or Batman. But if he intended to go the Injustice route, it is a story about Superman completely losing his way and becoming a villain. It would also make Batman even more of a hypocrite as he killed tons of people in BvS.

I actually feel for superman on this storyline too. Bruce his best friend abandoned him in the lowest moment of his life and worse started a war against him, endangering their other friends. Bruce could have talk superman out of his plans. Put any superhero on superman's situation and they likely go nuts as well. Superman's regime is his way of coping up with his loss. They're lucky he punched the Earth to dust right after he accidentally killed his family.

Don't get me wrong, I understand both sides. What Superman is doing is clearly wrong and moves far past anything resembling justifiable. However, then the comic wants to try to throw in parallels when that is not at all what those are.. Batman didn't kill Alfred Superman, presumably and most likely did(Indirectly). Batman wasn't unwittingly forced to kill a pregnant Selena or Talia and bomb Gotham city to hell, killing millions. His parents killer, did not hand him a knife and force him at gun point to stab his parents to death. So when the comic tries to convey that under similar circumstances Batman would not go down that road, it comes off hollow as hell. So really the only ground that Bruce has to stand on is the moral ground. Fundamentally, Superman's dictatorship is fucked. That's all Bruce has, because he would never be able to relate to something like that unless the entire Bat family and most of Gotham city died by his hand. I'm just tired of superman being an easy target for authors. A challenging and interesting story to write would be making Batman the villain. And I don't mean owl man. Batman has a failsafe for all the superheroes, so the concept of him taking them mostly out and using his influence and money for nefarious purposes would be interesting to see. I don't buy for a second that just saying his mothers name, as funny as it was, would break him.

You know injustice 2 could reverse this with Batman leading a regiem. What if Barry's time travel causes Bat's to kill the Joker in the red hood series. (Return of Jason Todd) and then having Batman create a paramilitary to take down any Super powered individual that didn't submit and end up being trained to be like him..

When the punisher killed the Marvel universe, they changed it so that superpowered individual killed his family so therefore, he zeroed in on every person with superpowers.
