Thank you for this video! I related so much to what you had said, especially when you said that you were so blissfully ignorant and then 'boom!' it just hit you and you fell for this woman. This is me writ large! I wasn't even aware what it was I was feeling for her until she casually dropped she was a lesbian. Then I somehow connected the dots in my head and it hit me: attraction! It was attraction I was feeling! I was shattered, relieved, heartbroken, all at the same time. Thank you again for so bravely sharing.

This is a great video. You've covered so many of my thoughts while I'm going through this coming out process in my late 30s. I denied who I am for years. It lead to a very unhappy life.

First of all I can see life changing this has been for you and I respect you making yourself vulnerable like this in an effort to help others. The fact that this is culturally even more difficult makes this even more helpful. I think here in the US (not everywhere) were I live we are a little more progressive in regards to these things. My sons generation doesn’t even think this needs to be an issue, they don’t believe in labels, they don’t think you have to make a statement, come out, and it isn’t anyone’s business how you love and who you love, they don’t think gender barriers should be an issue. They really think we are just humans and have feelings that land somewhere on a broad spectrum. You can feel a little female, more male or you can feel just yourself, you can love men and women or have no sexual desire. It’s all ok. It’s a brave new world and I am so excited about it. It will make life so much easier for so many people. I look forward to a future where no one has to struggle like you are in this moment. You are brave and beautiful. I wish you didn’t feel like this turns your life upside down, I wish you could just love the woman you love and if people have a problem with it, let it be their problem. Thank you for sharing.
