Sincerely I’m shocked at how sensible you two are. It’s rare to find that these days. A lot of gay people just want to pay back their parents in an unkind way and just expect everyone to be accepting of everything at every time. As a lesbian immigrant well my parents are still in my country, I do not expect them to understand and I have waited to tell them at my own expense so it can hurt less for them. It’s a breath of fresh air hearing you speak. I already subscribed. ❤

Thanks so much for dropping this sweet comment and supporting us on this channel 😊❤️ It’s certainly a tough decision coming out to immigrant parents and as you mentioned, we can’t expect them to fully understand. My hope is that whenever you feel the time is right and makes sense for you to tell them, that they can at least hear you out. They might not understand in the beginning, but over time and with communication they might surprise you. We’re both sending you all the love & support your way 🫶🏼 We appreciate you for your honesty here!

LOVED THIS! So grateful for both of your stories, thank you for sharing them & highlighting especially the nuances of coming out to immigrant parents & about how it's never 50/50. Loved that you addressed that it's not about "they must accept us as who we are" but that there are more nuances. It may have been quite nerveracking to open up here online but we sincerely thank you for your stories! 🫶🏼 LOVE YOU BOTHHHH!

Thank you so so much for your support and your kind words 🥹🫶🏼 100% agree with you that there are certainly nuances when talking about these sorts of issues with your parents (esp if they’re immigrants). Life was just different for them, and it wouldn’t be logical to expect them to understand the way we do. But yes, it’s an ever-growing relationship so long as both parents and us (as their kids) are willing to communicate honestly 😊 Really appreciate you! 🩷

Almost caught up on these and this might've been my favorite video yet. Getting an understanding of how hard it is for someone to come out. My friend never told me what it was like coming out to her parents so I only know as to her telling me. I hope it wasn't too hard fo herr and watching this just kind of helped me understand a little more. Great video, very entertaining and a good laugh with your mom's reaction. Loved it

Love your story. I only have one issue and that's saying that God made you that way. God speaks against this in all Holy scriptures but He do still love you. Thanks for sharing
