4:27 The problem with running sweepers that only kills small creatures is that they will rarely save you when you need them to. Sure, you can clear up the board a bit, but you often want to clear the board when the opponents have an overwhelming advantage and just doing 3-4 damage to all creatures won't help you then. It's a terrible topdeck. In my opinion, why would you run small sweepers like that when there are cards like Blasphemous Act, Spiteful Banditry and Chain Reaction already available?

The card makes an enormous amount of sense in the opponent's deck. Also, those board wipes can assist with weak matchups to tokens and can dodge a lot of your own creatures if built around. Board wipes don't need to be "100% of the time reset everyone to zero" if they can 5-for-1 each opponent and enable you to progress your board.

Shirei and skullclamp is a nombo shirei only cares if the creature has 1 powers upon dying with clamp the power is normally 2 plus which shirei won't bring back not that he stuck on the board

yes, but drawing cards is important especially since your commander costs 5 and with commander tax gets even harder. since all of them are generally 1/1's its great early even though its a nonbo with shirei. Especially with the amount of reanimation my deck has - Fish

Yeah skullclamp is just so poweful that its a non bo that I think you live with it and just play smart when it comes up.

If you cast Martial Coup and your commander triples the tokens. Wouldn't the additional tokens created by the commander get destroyed along with all other creatures? So, Martial Coup will look for the X amount of creatures it created, then destroys everything else. Or am I wrong?

The play patterns are so loose. Play tapped land > Clamp > find Ancient Tomb is the sort of stuff that loses you games more than just being "unlucky" haha
