Commando is a 1985 American action film directed by Mark L. Lester and starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, Rae Dawn Chong, Alyssa Milano, Vernon Wells, Bill Duke and Dan Hedaya. The film was released in the United States on October 4, 1985. The film was noted for its furious action and sense of humor.

2 scenes always stand out when I watch this movie...1). Arnold holding sully with one arm over the edge,take a close look at Sully's left or right leg,you can see the wire holding him upside down come thru his pants...2). The car chase with the yellow Porsche, the Porsche gets pretty messed up on one side especially when it tips over but when Arnold and the girl drive away the Porsche is brand new..not a scratch on it....classic movie..

Don't forget the scenes on the island, when during the explosions the soldiers are made of wood/cardboard 😄

No sequel: Commander to Arnie at end of film: “ until next time?” Arnie looking at the two young actresses who were stealing scenes from him through the whole movie : “not a chance!”

At the end of the movie when matrix and Bennett are having the knife fight, Bennett says to matrix, you're getting old John. In real life, Vernon Wells is 2 years older than Arnold Schwarzenegger.
