Let’s talk about age and fertility...
The thought alone is probably enough to make you feel nauseous with anxiety.
That’s because, as a society, we’ve really done a number on women of a certain age to make them feel “too old” and “too barren” to make babies.
I’m here to bust that MYTH with you today.
Despite what you’ve heard (probably a million times by now), age is NOT an accurate diagnosis for infertility.

I got pregnant first time naturally at 43 . After a couple of years of IVF and not being successful. We gave up, decided to clean up lifestyle, exercise, spirituality and eventually within three months got pregnant naturally. Never give up is the lesson. Doctors had told me I’d never get pregnant naturally n use donor eggs. I say it’s my miracle. Also dealt with fibroids before.

I am 37, and naturally pregnant! I am actually healthier and my body was more ready at 37, then when I was younger. I do go to the gym, and take good care of myself which I think helped. I had a miscarriage at 20, and my body wasnt ready at the time. So yes, its very possible, and im healthy and happy!

It happened to me easily at 40 though I had two fibroids and the feutus always showed very healthy in tests. I had always been taking multi vitamins before pregnancy, did sports, and never ever smoked or drank any alcohol. I just suffered from chronoc nausea and vomiting. she is curiously pouring out all the drawers under the bed now😂 Wish you all the best!

My OB told me that my miscarriage risk at 45 is only 5% higher than when I was younger (25% versus 20%). I got pregnant at 43, had a miscarriage, my OB said its actually promising that I got pregnant and I simply need to accept that it could take longer now.

It's exactly these type of videos we need to see more of! Thank you Dr Sklar! I'm turning 39 in a couple of weeks and just started IVF cycle 2. Single mother by choice with a sperm donor, based in the UK. I have low AMH and at the start of cycle 1 I only had 4 follicles. This time round I had 12 follicles on my baseline scan. I know the count varies month to month, but I'm happy with any small wins! I'm hoping all the supplements I've been taking since July 2023, clean nutritious diet (organic), acupuncture and exercise have helped. I'm hopeful this is my time 🙏🤍

Currently pregnant with a surprise #5 at 38 so yes you can. My MIL was a big surprise to her parents at 45. Shes the baby if the family by far. She was raised with her neices and nephews

I am 41 and fsh 8.6 and ahm 8.8 Hormones are perfect. I start my ivf injection tomorrow and only hoping the best. I do eat quit healthy to improve my ivf outcome.

Hi. I had my first miscarriage at 35. I tested positive this month at 36 yrs. I am taking progesterone supplements, blood thinner as prescribed by doctor. My doctor has suggested for hucog 5000 injection. Should I go ahead and take those injections. It am on 4th week from last period date.

I have had more losses since turning 35. I have had 4 loses in a year and a half. I was a surrogate in 2021 and had 5 healthy pregnancies and babies before that. I am not sure why I keep on losing babies right before 6 weeks along. The docs have no answers.

Cysts and fibroids may have a lot to do with iodine and vitamin d-deficiencies. Perhaps look into Dr Dan Brownstein, Dr Elizabeth Bright and Lugol’s iodine. All on KZfaq.
