Any rational person would have said... "When I found out about Epstein's past, I was mortified. I cannot believe I spent time with that person. If I had known, there is no chance I would have been affiliated with them. My heart goes out to his victims" The fact the Gates didn't say ANY of that raises enormous red flags, IMO.

@@alexanderlyon I have noticed throughout this pandemic and even beforehand that they are careful not to straight out lie. If you go down the really far out rabbit hole of evil corrupting good, it would seem that lying would be against the rules somehow. Like cheating. It's hard to explain, sorry. Like if you were to buy someones soul, they need to sell it voluntarily for it to be a legit sale. So it's important that Gates is overtly corrupt to anyone who actually wants to see it....

I'm sure he had conversations with attorneys and the focus of the conversation was along the lines of "dead men tell no tales". Each time you keep coming back to it, it seems a little more disturbing than the time before. Nothing overly unusual about it, but it’s disturbing nonetheless. The fact that he’s so ‘matter of fact’ about it and he doesn’t even really pause to think before he gives this punchy, direct reply… all the more to creep you out.

Asking him for what lessons he learned is like the opposite of pressing him. When people want to move past something that puts themselves in a bad light they very often pivot to what lessons they learned which distances themselves from their "old self." Like "I made a mistake but I've learned a lot and therefore I'm a better person now" *so you should trust me as though I'm not the same person who did that thing.* You hear this from pro athletes who have been fined or faced criminal charges. You hear it in corporate apologies. So the reporter was giving Gates the chance to move on and say some bullshit like "I've learned to be more careful vetting who I have "dinner" with as I seek fundraising opportunities thereby framing the whole history as just a vetting mistake. I think Gates was intelligent enough to know this wouldn't work at all, but he didn't really have anything better to say either.

A smile can mean many things. Some people smile and laugh when stressed. Some people choose to laugh, in order to not "go there". You see, if you are not a psychopath...your brain knows what is the right path, but you can offset that in the moment, by laughing instead, but...it will come back to haunt you. So, someone says something and your brain is doing a mind map search....finds a node, that connect to thousand more nodes+emotions attached to said nodes, you might not be able to handle all that. So, you step in front of that beautiful process your brain does, and stop it in it's tracks by interjecting a laugh, or joke. But again...your brain stores everything...you can't run away from the truth of your own mind map. Only delay.

I just work for it, so I get to use them. They can put all their money in their foundation and only have to spend a fraction of it on the foundation's stated purpose to avoid paying taxes on it. If Bill G was a true American, he'd be funding education for poor, deserving US kids and building housing for poor working families, etc. Not spending it in Africa and other places. I won't ask how he's a liar because we all lie, even and especially the ones who deny it 😳 but in my opinion president Trump was hands down the best president we've had in a very long time. Under his leadership our country was actually doing better in many, many ways. I just don't understand how people, even those on the left have a difficult time seeing and acknowledging that. BTW, I had a family member that went by Granny Reynolds, my grandmother went by granny as well. It's not a nickname you hear used very often but every time I hear it I always think of my sweet granny Lela; God bless her soul and God bless you.

His answer to the lesson question “well he’s dead.. you’ve got to be careful” DOES make sense if you see it as a warning to others not to talk. The lesson for others is that powerful people can get to you and have you bumped off even when locked in a cell.
