I would add the importance of smoke to this. Do not ever ignore the smoke abilities in the late game especially when caapturing VPs

Hey Hans. Just getting into CoH2. I played a bunch of CoH around release, and was glad to see the game is still alive as it's one of my favorite games. In the move to CoH2 I've had some trouble figuring out the infantry match-ups. Could you do a video on this? E.g. I know that, all things equal, grenadiers will beat a rifle squad at range, but the rifles will win if they can get in close range, but some of the other match-ups I'm very confused on. Do I move my rifles in close to fight sturm pioneers or do I keep my distance? Do Pioneers beat the other engineer squads in close range? How do the soviet infantry units compare against the grenadiers? etc. I'd also be interested in knowing how some of the upgrades affect infantry unit performance. Most of them are obvious, but some like the G43, bars, etc. don't seem to be very intuitive. Are they just a straight upgrade at all ranges, or do they only affect a specific range? Do the smgs cost you long distance DPS, or does the long distance DPS stay the same while increasing the short range dps. Vehicle match-ups would be interesting to see also. Who wins on average in a t34 and p4 showdown? Is the scout car the absolute worst at head to head vehicle fighting? How does the OKW light tank match up against the other light tanks?

A tip of the week for SF would be nice if you haven’t already done it. For instance when should I throw away my riflemen and replace them with the Rangers. Also just general strategy and tactics with special forces.

one for us newbies , how to play a solo game by yourself vs AI only for practice, and what on earth is the dial thing between the red iron cross and where it has the portraits with green ticks under it? i gather something to do with generals? but what and when does that start or how do you use it?

Do a video on best bulletins and commander combos. Its small portions of the game yet the bulletins do help.

So first thank you for all your videos, I've just started COH2 with some friends and I really appreciate this kind of tutos because I consider that the game can be a little hard hard for some concepts ! So about late game, as a Soviet player, what will be your advices ? Because despite some commanders allowing it, Soviet can't build any kind of bunkers..

Even vs a good player, just adding the extra micro load of clearing the bunker and mines can help. especially late game where quite a lot can be happening at the same time.

I just watched your "suppression" episode where you stop bunch of ussr infantry with mg42. Can you do the same with vickers or maxim? I dont think thats possible because mg42 has so much suppression that it stops units after one burst. How can other nations counter blobs with their mgs?

What commander gets you repair bunkers on the wermach? cant seem to find it

I know you did the topic attack ground already, but I don't get the mechanics when shooting at a left machine gun or at gun, it hits very seldom. Is there a certain point to aim for?

Hi Hans. Just passing by, i like your commitment to this game and that you used your "fame" to aid newcomers. (even tho i don't personally need it, since im no neophyte to the game) And it's good to have some guys like Thightrope Stormless ImperialDane , You and others who puts time and effort (but i think mostly joy then effort) into this Community. Coh 2 is great Community with you guys. Also i don't understand why you pronounce "caches" like caché (which means hidden in french) , i thought it should be pronounce like cache"z" (im french by the way and being following you for a long time now) But a tip for you (not insulting you personally) but some of your tips are really too obvious… i mean People playing coh 2 don't have low intelligence...Bad strategist maybe (and too instinctive also)

if someone whos able to mod reads this: do a "random rapidfire commander" style mod, where youll get a selecten of 3 completeley randomized commanders w all cross-faction units and callins

maybe a "how to counter elephants and jagatiger that are supported with everything on a narrow or very open map effectively" -tip. I would appreciate that

I think you should give video access on your twitch to everyone again. Limiting it for subscribers only is stupid for me. I only go to twitch to watch your plays and now im forced to create an account just to watch u.. maybe you can reconsider that if not then not.
