I have an old Arc'teryx Alpha ultra-lite shell and soft shell mid-layer that I purchased back in 07 and the Alpha ultra-lite shell finally started to come undone at some of the glued seams. I contacted Arc'teryx last week just to see if it was repairable and they said no however, they gave me a nearly $400 website store credit for sending it back to them! Not ever exaggerating! A 16 year old jacket and they still stood behind it giving me nearly 75% of its original value in store credit. INCREDIBLE COMPANY!

Chris, as you know, the Covert is ideal for winter. Would you say that the Delta is more suited for Spring and Fall?

Yes, lighter than the covert , but a little heavier than the kyanite LT. But the delta is also good in winter as well.

Hey, really liked the Video. I can't decide between Delta LT and Kyanite LT. Which one would you recommend for Hiking and outdoor use from spring to fall?

I really like the Kyanite LT. The Delta LT is a little heavier, but the kyanite is really soft and comfortable. Both are nice, but for warmer weather I like the Kyanite LT. Keep in mind that a cool wind will go thru both. Both are really versatile, and do layer well under warmer layers or shells . Can't go wrong with either, but my favorite is the Kyanite LT.

Hey Chris, to use in day by day, to work , covert or kyanite hoody?

The covert is my favorite of the two. The Kyanite is a little lighter, and perhaps a bit softer to the touch, but the covert is just a nicer piece. In my opinion. The kyanite is nice, but it's more like a common everyday hoody, a bit more "sporty". The covert is more like a sweater. It is really warm, and can look more "dressy"..... You could wear it out to dinner or in the office at work, and it looks nice even with dress pants. Very versatile.

@@meandmyjackets got it Chris, and about size for Atom LT? I'm 6ft and 220 lb, wondering if should go with L or XL? Thanks buddy 🙂

@@leonardomendes8684 I'm 6ft and was 218 lbs, now slimmed to 180 ish and I'd suggest anyone at these dimensions buys XL. If You are the weight I am now, Large will be perfect.
