Hey, that's my deck! Ocean Wyrms is my favorite way to play Umi. The Chengying+Stealth banish loop is crazy strong, but Gymir Aegirine is damn near unkillable under Sea Stealth AND she protects your Kairyu-Shin.

Cool stuff. Surprisingly a engine I use for my own unique umi variant deck. So besides this, I also have other engines which might be of interest for water players. Abyss keeper, shif fairy of the ghoti = another banish engine. Abyss keeper white aura bigamut = banish engine with a stronger monster. Marincess great bubble reef + shif fairy of the ghoti + time-tearing morganite = 4 card per turn draw engine. Marincess coral anemone + abyss keeper + shif fairy of the ghoti + lifeless leafish = quick set up for marincess bubblereef or abyss keeper engines. Lifeless leafish + shif fairy of the ghoti + legacy of the duelist = slow micro synchro engine if you summon white aura dolphin and whale to give you synchro options between 6 8 and 10. And lastly Chengying + Marincess Great bubble reef + shift fairy of the ghoti + time-tearing morganite = 4 card draw and twin banish per turn engine without sea stealth. My deck variant runs it's own unique stall engine to setup its own backrow to then generally move on to the micro engine.

I climbed to Diamond this season with a version of mermail atlantian this season. Hand rip is good this meta and going second with high chance of OTK damage has made the climb feel kind of free for me. Even beat snake eye quite often. Great video once again.

Made it to Master with umi lock this season, pretty free climb tbh. my mvp card was red reboot, funny thing is before I started climbing I forgot it went to 2, pretty neat tech. Looking forward for a master cup build version King !

I forgot to tell you what replay for sink or swim. My replay wasn’t that exciting so I voted for the other guy, but your commentary is always golden. I think that replay was my first time pulling off the Moulinglacia perfectly and I was happy. I can summon anything with Waking the Dragon that applies in the moment but one of my favorites is Infinitrack Fortress Megaclops.

Baronne only brings back monster with lv9 or less, so of course you can't bring back a synchro monster lv 10. It is probadly designed so you can try to summon Baronne again

You're right you could have activated Maxx c upon drawing it with toggle on and if it was a bot or he CL2 mystic wok, #43 would miss the timing but he could just wait on an open game state and make sure wok is CL1 to kill you. I believe it would miss the timing since Maxx c will resolve last, blocking "when you gain LP" that would trigger #43.

For the utopia duel, it does miss the timing as soon as you get a chance to respond after they do do it. It will miss the timing. You could have chained maxx c after they gained life points. The # monster needs to be the direct chain link after. When this was popular with bots, I always did this. Dkayed also showed this one time on stream.

so for that utopia duel, there isnt a 'missing timing' type thing going on, at least not that im aware of, but maybe more of a misunderstanding of how bots work, since these type of otk/ftk style decks like dd dynamite or whatever, are like 90% bots. so if you chain a card or interrupt the bots combo, even if it doesnt actually effect the combo, the bots timing goes to shit and then it usually just auto scoops. but if it turns out to actually be a player then obviously this wont work. in that case, almost every single piece of interruption in the game breaks this incredibly fragile otk lol. it is unfortunate you drew none of it though.
