Amazing Collection. Really enjoy your reviews too. I watched A Fistful Of Dynamite the other day, instantly one of my favourites of all time, the Limited is going for silly money on eBay so may just pick up Standard edition.

I know i'm gonna love A fistful of Dynamite. It's just my kind of film! I hate the whole scalpers situation and event the limited edition idea. I think a lot of genuine film fans miss out because of the scalpers. Most movies are expensive enough without the added inflation. There are always things i miss out on, i usually watch ebay for a fair price, sometimes i find it.

I love the enthusiasm for all kinds of films. I need to start collecting physical copies again. I'm 42, fellow Scot and lost most of my excitement for films a while ago, but I still try and chase that feeling of seeing a hidden or forgotten gem of a film that I got when I would watch Moviedrome on BBC2 as a kid.

He C.J. i'm of the same era. I loved the day's of moviedom and just stumbling across a film late night on tv. That's long gone now. The closest i get to it is the blind buys of films, it can be a masterpiece or a trashterpiece, as long as it ain't boring i'm happy.

I'm ten years younger than you and also a fellow Scot. I'm starting to collect more and more, but I'm struggling to watch them all. Hopefully one of these days I'll get around to it!

Honestly the best decision i made was to watch everything i buy. I've stuck to it really well this year. As well as dipping into the back catalogue of films. Even if i don't feel like watching a specific movie i still watch it. It is rather freeing. Stops me from hoarding as well.

I used to get like that a lot. I'd but stuff thinking, oh thats a classic or i should see it and then throw it on the shelves and never think about it again. Knowing that i have to watch what i buy has actually stopped me from ordering certain things that i know i just wouldn't't really want to watch anytime soon.

Yeah Horror is prominent in my collection, but i think my Masters of cinema, Criterion and Indicator help balance it out a bit.

It's also really interesting seeing other collections. I was looking at one from a KZfaq/FB friend and it's like a complete mirror image of mine. Virtually no classics and untold "modern" releases Admittedly I had to watch in small doses but it was like a trip into a parallel movie world

Your collection is amazing Graham. It's all quality stuff. I fall into the trap of buying stuff because it's cheap and nine times out of ten crap. Not much filler on your shelves.

Its always interesting to see and I appreciate the extra diversity of your videos recently. :) Really fantastic collection tour. Since we all have this completionist collector gene, many of us have similar collections with slightly different label specialism :) It's still great to see in video form especially since we have the same problems with space! The interesting bits might be the other films but I think they are better done as smaller videos (a la Solitary Ronin's alphabet series :) ) It might make it more manageable to do. Thanks again Graham.

Cheers Chris, It's all about time for me as well. I need to move stuff about and make sure the house is quiet to really do these kinds of vids. Hopefully when things are back to normal i'll have more time. Rather than feeling as though i need to cram everything into one video.

Not really. Only way to know for sure Is to see it. It’s a bit of a bummer really.

Loved looking through your collection! Really need to get those Keaton films! But my first priority here would be the Jackie Chan ones. Always annoys me how little I have seen of Jackie's earlier films. Really enjoyed this man!

Half way through - I never know which is more fun - the nods to all the Masters of Cinema or the occasional recognition when we have the same Arrows! And yes the world and his wife are all waiting to get round to watching The Human Condition.

@@manvfilm It's hard to tell yet. Perhaps once the tour is over. Cos like most folk you tend to file by label a lot whereas I am strictly alpha/numeric. That means I can see almost instantly what you have I lack but the reverse is very difficult. Anyway as one might expect you have lot more horror/slasher type stuff (I only really have old Universal and some Hammer stuff with a few Vampires, I don;t mind Vampires so much it's those Zombies as bore me rigid). I suspect i fill up with more non-boutique classics and adaptations of classic novels. Also I make no distinction at all between theatrical releases and TV. I think you said once your TV stuff has an elsewhere to be, like most normal people!

@@manvfilm I bought the French edition of Odd Thomas blu ray and on the English audio track it doesn't allow you to turn off the French subs. I find myself looking at those as much as the movie. Last time I watched it I pulled out my old dvd and watched that instead

Yeah the numbered collections are a bloody nightmare! I plan on doing it soon. Next time I have the house to myself I’m getting to the second half of the collection.

Great collection I'm definitely jealous the only thing I have that you're missing and I highly recommend is the Arrow Video Tsukamoto box set. There's a limited edition out of print that goes for over 200 bucks on Amazon and a still available standard edition which I have and is so worth it for about 60 although if you wait for another Arrow sale you can probably snag it for 40. Awesome video, do you have the arrow window box movies ( the white ones , which you can choose 4 different covers ) , and it’s also worth trying on iTunes for some of the arrow movies you’ve got sealed because it’s worth £2.99 . And keeping some of yours sealed. And I’ve preordered I think it’s dawn of the dead on 4K, looks like quite a big box but expensive. But really looking forward to seeing it in 4K though

No, i don't have any of the window box titles. That seems like a smart idea I may pick up some of the digital copies, especially The Burning. I Can't wait to get The Dawn of the Dead 4K set. I've also preordered the Friday the 13th Collection for October!

Awesome collection! Do you buy many Region A or C Blu-rays or do you mostly stick to collecting Region B? I have considered getting a multi region player but haven’t taken the plunge and so far just stuck to Region B collecting

It’s mostly B importing other regions is pricey so it’s mostly just the odd region A , and then it’s really just vinegar syndrome.

Lovely curated collection 👌. Some very good quality items, money well spent. ENVY🤤. The Entity is the only film I am truly scared of haha. If you were to do another I would only do a couple of shelves, easier for you and you can spend more time on more movies try watching moodz616 shelve videos. Loved it mate

Great decision. A good range of the MOC series and ones I love would be... Harakiri M Sunrise La Planete Sauvage Touch of Evil Ruffles of Red Cap Double Indemnitu Ace in the hole Harold and Maude Des cabinet des Caligari The Offence Pick up on South Street Day of the outlaw Cure Any Buster Keaton sets House Kwaidan Bela Lugosi set. But if you want to know my favourite it’s Harakiri.

I take it that's the uncut version of Zombie Flesh Eaters? Also, which Italian horrors would you recommend getting? I have Suspiria and Inferno

I do love gialli so I’d recommend Argento’s animal trilogy of The bird with the crystal plumage, the cat o nine tails and four flies on grey velvet. I’d also say Deep Red. Anything Sergio Martino or Unberto Lenox is great. Lucia Fulci is also a must if you like zombie flesh eaters. City of the living dead, the beyond and house by the cemetery are great, but weird. That should keep you busy for a while. I have loads of Italian film reviews on my channel if your interested.

I love Harold & Maude after discovering it a few years ago. I felt that the UK really missed out on this - just me? Would like to see your review of the Metropolis 90th Anniversary edition if you get round to it. Anyway Mr Vampire arrives today - I'll expect your review soon!

I'm currently awaiting my copy of Mr.Vampire and the Bela Lugosi 3 pack. I have never seen Metropolis, i feel a great deal of shame about that.

@@manvfilm There are so many versions of Metropolis floating around, mainly with different soundtracks (not keen on the Georgio Moroder one). But it is an amazing experience. Fritz Langs genius need to be sung from the rooftops

@@manvfilm It took me yonks to watch my DVD boxset of Dr Mabuse. Tbh its not my favourite Lang but definitely worth a watch including IMHO the last one which I know many dismiss completely.
