I was so hoping that the maned wolf could live together with the anteater - like in Leipzig Zoo. Now I'm even more excited that we get the maned wolf! And omg the caracal kittens are too cute! The fur and textures of all the new animals look amazing. I hope we get a free update for the base game animals soon. The lions and some other people could use a new version at this point.

It’s crazy seeing butterflies! My last two jobs were working with butterflies at a butterfly house and at a zoo, so it’s exciting to see how accurate they get my old jobs.

Concerning the butterfly 'signs'. Yes, SA pack gave us the butterfly lights, but we 'also' do have flat butterflies that I believe we got in the wetlands pack.

I can't wait for the butterflies. I hope that this will lead to a bird pack now that they are getting the flying animations figured out.

Wait, no interspecies enrichment for the wallaby and the emu? Sounds like Frontier didn't do their homework on those animals.

With the butterflies and bats I really hope we will get parrots as well C: they have the tech and behaviour for them now.

The pack is SO GOOD!! There are some small issues that need to be addressed (like the hyena model you said in the video). For example, the hyena and maned wolf habitat size is WAY too big and should be halved. The Emu also should have the temperate biome (we live in temperate Australia where we see Emus ALL the time). The Emu also should have compatibility with the Red Kangaroo as I have been to zoos where they do this. Also I would love the Armadillo to get deep diving as they do in the Everglades (it has the same need for it as the moose). Overall, the pack is INCREDIBLE and I can't wait to get it.

Wallabies tend to scratch their stomachs with their front paws when standing up, and it looks adorably silly. I so hoped they would add that animation, but I have yet to see it. I also think they skimped out on the mane part of the maned wolf, but overall I'm super stoked about this pack ^^

I want this pack solely for the maned wolf! they need a lot of space bcs theyre a very lonesome species who wanders around kilometers of cerrado flat lands, and only get together for mating. I love them sm!

I was originally thinking that this pack is very disappointing for builders (no underwater viewing, no climbing, no big animals) but without exaggeration the thin pole made me excited now lol

I wish frontier would give us the option to make a completely empty walk through exhibits with the butterflies and the bats to (especially the bats because the chained bat boxes are not a good camouflaged scenery)

Caracal 💙 I plan on making a Franchise "Big Cat Zoo", and I absolutely welcome another adorable lil kitty.

I can't wait for the habitat for striped hyaenas, that's not only a mix in Indian and North African style, though a habitat for said hyaenas being alot like a mix between the Middle Eastern desert and the Indian jungle with bamboo in it. Since I found out about the mixed social unit is just a mated pair, I'm getting use to that. The reason for the striped hyaenas in India, because of Tabaqui from Jungle Book whom in the adaptations where he's depicted as a hyaena, while originally depicted as a golden jackal, otherwise, the striped hyaenas had similar portrayals with said jackals.

Caracals are my fav mid size cats! So excited to build a enclosure for them!

I am so hopeful for small song birds and aviaries in the future! I would love to see the large domes filled with beautiful brightly colored birds that the guests can just sit and watch inside the dome.

Oh very excited to get this pack, won't be able to play it right away, work is too busy and pulling some overtime so it'll be Christmas before I can enjoy it but I'll def be looking forward to it the Caracal I think is my fave of this pack, cats of any size are always a welcome addition for me, will be looking forward to seeing you use them animals in your zoos and seeing what sort of habitats you create!!

Low key quite sad that guests cannot enter the Emu habitat. Here in Australian zoos/wildlife parks they're very commonly kept in huge open spaces shared with kangaroos and wallabies, where guests can walk around freely and can feed them for $1-$2.

Ahh yes the armadillo. The Texas state small animal. It’s facing the wrong way though. It should be on its back on the shoulder of a highway. That’s how I mostly see them.

The animations in just this little video from all animals are amazing. They cut every animal out of all the animals we have and make them special

It’s hard to tell, but I’m trying to figure out if the butterflies are free flying instead of looped. Like, they’re up in the air longer while making really sharp turns when flying around, and I think at 24:52 it clipped through the house. I’m sure it’s just something that needs to be patched, and regardless I’m really happy with how they came out, but I wonder if they really are free flying. 🤔

As someone who sees caracels up close often... I'm not really impressed by the model. Too puma-like in the face, too big a head and too stocky legs. Real caracels look like a mix between a housecat and a lion with a flat nose, with a head that seems too small for its body. The eyes are also too almond shaped as they usually have round eyes with a drooping upper lid. Their ears are in the forward 'listening' position whenever they are not animating, but in reality the ears usually are swiveled so with the tufts they make a bit of a devil horn curve. They're also not really the right russet shade here, and it makes their pale green eyes less striking. Their run feels off to me too, like a heavier cat, when caracels are very housecat-like in how they do their normal walk, but faster, in order to run. Sadly I think this is a downscaled puma reskin which is a huge disappointment in a pack that already has another wildebeest, another hyena, another kangaroo shaped animal and another ostrich shaped animal.

I wanted to do a test build on a diorama but I cannot get animals into the habitat. I assume you must have a trade centre, staff bldg, habitat gate, path etc. - it let me put these outside the actual habitat but they appear to be floating in air. I can hire keepers, adopt animals but when I try to move the animals to the habitat it says relocating animals but it never does. I am sure I am doing it wrong. Is there something I am missing to get animals onto my diorama habitat? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated by this amateur.
