There is absolutely nothing wrong with your English skill. You are quite easy to understand and I think you get the point across very well. Thank you for all you do for percussion. Your contributions do not go unnoticed. \m/

53:26 to 54:42: What you just said here... does not just apply to drumming, it applies everywhere. This is a very good life lesson right here, and it actually made me have a long discussion with one of my friends regarding this mentality xD

Nechtan, switching to this F5 ride was your best decision ever - it really makes the overall sound better! :) Can you tell me if you mike the ride up with any separate mike or it's just OH? I have a similar big-bell ride, but I struggle with a balance in the overall mix. Thanks!

In order to protect your body and also to lengthen your career, I think it is necessary to not only put on some protective equipment and also have regular body check-ups after so many years of intensive blasts.
@wanjanechtangroeger
@wanjanechtangroeger 3 жыл бұрын
Protective equipment? Maybe a helmet? :D Joints actually can get used to higher strains and I think warming up, playing relaxed and executing my techniques cleanly is the best protection.
@uranuss

@@wanjanechtangroeger protective equipment I mean wrist, ankle guard etc. By the way, I'm really amazed seeing your push pull finger technique and kick technique few years ago when you were still videoing in an outdoor environment.

@wanjanechtangroeger 3 жыл бұрын
@@uranuss Wow, that was a long time ago ;) I used wrist bands (mainly to stabilize and keep warm) when I had trouble with pain in my wrists but after a couple of months I kind of fixed the issue by changing my technique slightly and then I didn't need them anymore.

Awesome playing - im curious though. At which speeds is it essential to have triggers for clarity of the patterns? Cheers
@wanjanechtangroeger
@wanjanechtangroeger 3 жыл бұрын
That really depends on how hard and consistent you hit! I think I could play with satisfactory clarity up to ~240bpm. But live I would always use triggers for anything over 200.
