Edison Chen is the co-founder of Clot, a streetwear brand that’s spent 20 years tying together the East and the West. Clot is best known in sneakers for its high-profile Nike collaborations, but that’s about to change. Last year, Chen and Clot started a new partnership with Adidas that promises to expand their sneaker empire by allowing Clot more resources and freedom to create. In this episode, Chen talks about leaving Nike, signing with Adidas, and the bygone era of lining up for sneakers. This might be my episode of the year, hearing how Chen explains what he wants to do with the stripes as well as what he wants to do to leave a legacy behind, is really inspiring, i seriously couldnt stop listening so closely to him. Also props to Welty for not underselling, respect to standing on his opinion to the end! Thank you team and keep up the good work.

Discovered Edison from the HK film Gen Y Cops from all the way back in 2000. More than two decades ago, and he basically still looks the same, and he was already super cool! That movie also had a very young Paul Rudd and Maggie Q, who both also seem very youthful

Nike has the ISPA line that is innovative and several other things that they are doing but right now the Dad shoe vibe is taking over! So Vomero 5's P-6000, etc are the kicks holding it down for the brand at the moment.

tbh I think the rollout was fine the shoes sold out and had plenty of people trying to get the sneaker in Miami. I just feel people get too entitled into thinking that one place deserves a sneaker drop more than another. Like u will get ur chance to get his shoe in time it is what it is. If u really Messed with the shoe or book that shouldn't effect ur view on the sneaker. People just like to cry about anything tho now in days and flip around like a fish out of water.
