This was a small school projected with a deadline of a month. This scene still needs some fixing-up ( Animation and camera tracking) however, overall for my first time putting something all together for a finished product, I'm proud of this one.
The background and wings were all modelled, textured, rigged, animated, lit and rendered in maya/ mental ray. Used primarily SDK's for the wings rig.
The actor, Andy Holt, was painted up and made to look like copper man. I composited everything in NukeX; keyed the actor, placed the tracked footage, color-corrected and intergrated all the assets together.
