Sir I had one query.... Why the temperature increases so drastically after Mesopause??
@pallavisingh2188
@pallavisingh2188 3 жыл бұрын
Layer present above the mesosphere is Thermosphere (which constitutes the major part of the Ionosphere). In this layer the molecules absorb the highly energetic solar radiations (UV radiations) and get dissociated into ions or we can say that ions are being produced by the process called 'Photoionization or photodissociation'. Thus, in this process of ionisation energy is released in the form of heat which causes the increase of temperature. . But under normal conditions free electrons and ions tend to recombine and establish a balance between electron and ion production and loss.

Sir your videos are amazing and you have helped me a lot with geography. Sir I have a doubt and correct me if I am wrong. The warm air rises and cools adiabatically i.e. the warm air converts into cold air through the molecular transfer of heat. So how does the collision(turbulence) between warm air and cold air takes place when slowly and slowly the warm air is getting cooler and cooler?

There are a lot of youtube videos titled 'Jumping from space'. Technically, how is that correct. They are only jumping from a layer of atmosphere, right ? It's impossible for a human to jump from space with current technology. Pls explain the reason (if any) why they are using the term 'jumping from space'
