Farley's a big guy, but somehow he's wearing a suit about 3 sizes too big for him 😂

Probably why his suit was big on him is how physical he gets. Acting all goofy crazy running around etc. If his suit was perfectly fitted he'd be like the hulk ripping suits left and right but without the muscles. R.I.P. Chris Farley.

Chris always thought people only laughed at his expense for his weight ("Fatty falls down") but it was his energy, timing, and demeanor that was funny. This clip really highlights it. No falling down or taking off clothes. Just funny banter that even makes Conan laugh really hard.

It is really hard to help an addict. Addiction is keeps humans suffering. Suffering during and after. And all their loved ones. My wish would be that Chris knew the love we had for him, and his close people. That he could love himself as much. And that he could have had extreme rehab with multiple sober coaches. If he would have been fired, I think the drugs would have been him unaliving. Lorne tried. ALOT tried. I see him for the person he was. I love the heavy fella, but he could have been a healthier and sturdy fella and still been so cute, lovely, and hilarious! I wish he got to live til old age on a nice Wisconsin farm with a beautiful filly and plenty of children.

@Eyesofwrathvox

I know this is almost a year later since your comment LOL but that's cool that you discovered these guys recently! There really wasn't anything or anyone like Farley back in the day. Tommy boy came out when I was in the fourth grade I think. My family rented it when it came out on VHS and oh my God to this day I don't think I've ever laughed that hard. Then it's like every time you see this dude on tv, a movie, it didn't matter. You always erupted in laughter. I mean the Dark side of him was really sad and especially the way that he passed, but to say that he was comedy gold is an understatement. Dude was a genius

@@Eyesofwrathvox was thinking the same thing. How cool is it that Chris is still being found by people and making them laugh. Before Chris died (when he was near rock bottom) Chevy Chase took a tough love approach with him and told him when he died he wouldn't have the same acclaim or legacy as John Belushi, so to clean up. It was pretty close though. He's still beloved almost 30 years later. It's a shame we never got to see his version of Shrek. He had recorded 80-90% of the dialog before he died.

You always read in these comments how 'whoever' is 'ahead of their time'. Farley wasn't, he was a throwback to the older comics who were experts at using their entire body, face, and voice, with perfect timing. The amount of work he had to put in to master the timing and facial expressions must have been extreme. He and Sandler were always great together, it's too bad they never made a full movie together. The movie cameos and SNL stuff was fantastic.

Chris Farley is a one in a generation talent. He’s like that friend that super relatable funny guy In high school but on a scale you’ve never seen. Everything he does and touches (onstage and offstage) was superior humor. We lost one of the truly greatest comedians of our lifetime to drugs, alcohol, obesity, and depression. It’s seems to be a common theme. I hope humans greatest entertainers learn from this.
