No it's her first love. She wanted to marry him, but she was sent away to be a tribute to Qianlong instead. ALL of her scheming has been for the glory of her clan, and for the Duke who she still loves in particular. This is the first time she has seen him in decades, since she left her maiden land (now Korea) and would likely be the only time she will ever see him again, and he reacts like this and basically ignores her. She dedicated her whole life to him and her family, and in return by the end have fully disowned her and claim she was never born as part of their clan.

Jia is in love with the Duke of her clan, man who was leaving the palace, but was forced to be a concubine, and having heard that he was going to be punished tried to beg the emperor to spare him but the stress of everything caused her to lose her baby. Suoxin, Ruyi's lady in waiting, was tortured to admit she knew of Ruyi's affair but stayed loyal to her and didn't admit anything and left her with a long-lasting leg injury, and Ruyi encourages her to get married to leave the palace so she would no longer suffer and be free. Li Yu, the man who goes to talk to Suoxin and her husband at the end, has been in love with Suoxin for a very long time but decides to let her go and be happy outside of the palace.
