Conflict has unlimited replayibility, large map, Plenty of PVP makes ARMA worth playing. This mode can be a staple of the game going forward, cross-play is a great move! The game mode isn't boring, there are no restrictions. It keeps us casual players coming back for more

As someone who finds themselves being the radioman this is great news. I also think it gives medics a bigger importance since radios will need supplies. I also hope they add driving ai soon to ease the logistics.

I doubt the AI stuff will be out soon (I hope it will) but I imagine why they haven't really 'fixed' the AI currently is because it's going to be part of a massive AI update overhaul in the future, but Im fairly certain now that ammunition will part of the logistical issue, dictating load outs and things of that nature more people will appreciate and start doing supply runs, even a quick trip or two in jeeps will make a difference. I do a little bit of everything personally I run logistics but I also try to push and advance when I get a base fully decked out and supplied if the team hasn't captured points I would personally prioritize

@@CalebRWXbox I’m big into decking out bases but recently I’ve fell in love with making defensive huts sandbagged up with a nice camouflage netting on top and plenty of barbed wire to keep the cockroaches from creeping up on ya. When this update comes out it will be cool to now be able to make proper FOBS with the radio spawner and have ammunition stored in my own home made base close the enemy’s objective. I wish they would make a free build trench system where I could dig out some good fox holes below ground.

There's a mod that allows them to carry 1000 supply. My server has it enabled and it helps out big time!

This is cool and all but many of us just like coop vs ai so all we need is cti, bulwark, domination, evolution and mike force styles but with this engine.

That will all come eventually, the AI is due to get a lit of updates before it's macro behaviour is better. Micro behaviour is pretty great right now. I suggest trying out conflict anyway in the mean time, there is an element of ai combat to it with the FIA troops and its fun coordinating.

This will be a pretty big deal. I think spawns and knowing where to go and how is the biggest problem by far for newer players. Now we just need to pray they bring back 64 player official servers

I haven't seen any but then again what what platform? Because PC might not have as much issues with higher player counts as opposed to Xbox, I hardly ever see official 64s on Xbox, the most recent one was a 64 official Arland. That actually stood out to me. Everon though, never as least to my knowledge. Hell they dropped the player count at one point, so it's ebb and flow. We'll get there eventually but I think they're trying rush content so that when they do address servers stability and counts, there's less variables and margins of error if everything they want to immediately add, is already added.

@@wendellscott5635 we need 18 on conflict as there is only ever 1 or 2 servers that are full all time and never any others with mid pop, such as PC it's always powerbits server being full and then an official conflict server and the rest have 0 pop

Or as an alternative, offer resupply missions that you can volunteer for similar to the volunteering for capturing objectives thing, for extra promotion points when a bases supply level gets to a certain percentage, so let's say Military Hospital's supplies get to 1,500 and you're in or near the base, it'll pop on your screen saying hey our supplies are getting low and objective list, stating (Strategically Take and Extradite to Alternative Location) S.T.E.A.L supplies for Military Hospital. That way it's an extra bonus for the people who have no problem running supplies and it might encourage people to get supplies stocked, especially as a pop up and objective list volunteer bonus.

So that people can't necessarily cheese the 3rd view, IE seeing people before they see you, honestly for games like DayZ I would support 1st Only but I don't find my self using 3rd person that much and I don't think it's as big of a deal for a game like Arma since you don't necessarily lose a ton of time and progress by 3rd peeking.

Super stoked about the supply changes, I knew vaguely about what they wanted, the road map describes it a little bit but I think I heard more information somewhere I forgot where, but it'll be nice to have a physical item to transport so we can switch between vehicles if one of our trucks gets RPGed (or flipped which happens way less frequently but can still happen) so I'm not out a supply run and and the amount of time to go get a new vehicle. To be able to transport them in jeeps, I imagine BTRs as well will make it nicer as well because even though the supply truck is slower, a jeep might encourage people to replenish what they use. I'm hoping that the flatbed truck will serve as a bigger version of the supply truck (because in my opinion it only makes sense a big flatbed will be able to transport more) but I could be wrong. Now all they need to do is rank lock disassembling base services with the exception of whoever built it in the first place and Arma Reforger might be able to start really turning around. (To reduce malicious game griefing because I just had somebody last night do that because we had the US faction prettt much cornered then comes along some random and starts tearing our bases down and with the vote to kick not really working the way I feel it should or implemented the best, it's next to impossible to get rid of somebody before they destroy the entirety of our progress)

The supply system change will be big but I fear people abusing it and just taking out what ever they want and fucking over there team and plus griefing is still a problem

I'm pushing for Base Service Disassembling being rank locked, Lieutenant would probably be the ideal rank because sergeant a little too easy to get to, but it should (in theory) make base griefing a lot more difficult, yeah they can probably blow up vehicles in spawns but they won't be able to screw over the entire team as hard as they can currently, plus somebody high enough can just come back and move it (or the person that initially built it because I think that should be exemption, if you build it, it's yours)

@@_Sj330 yeah and that's sad and disappointing because Arma: Reforger Is a genuinely good game to play, not something many casual players may have time for namely Everon Conflict, but Arland or even like more traditional linear layouts like Northern or Southern Everon Conflict? You could get done with matches pretty quick, few hours tops. It's just the griefing has to be addressed above anything else.

Yes that would be very cool. Have the same system like they do with the mines where you can first person place them. I want more buildable assets/ structures and also a free build trench system like they have with enlisted

Full release/Arma 4 is going to be wild. Im just waiting for people to make the transition over to reforger because im from the UK and the EU servers are BARREN. Its annoying having to play US servers with such high ping and constant stuttering and latency. Even the official servers seem to be either so empty its not worth joining, or so full that you cant even get on.

I’d like the ability to Upgrade Vehicles and it make sense and be locked behind Resources. Cages, Extra Plates and Spare Tires.. NVS, Fire-Stabilizers, Better Optics and Wider Range if Optic Use. Etc. Maybe I can take the 50. Cal off a captured American Truck and Exchange the PKM for the 50. While also having added protection. The BTR-60 could be better in game. Idk. Just Impatient. Wish things in life where faster.

Close. Matches wont end based on losing tickets, but everything (including respawning) will require supplies.

More people getting supplies less players fighting ? So Official servers should get 64 players due to that and when helicopters come out or els there would only be people running supplies and using helicopters to capture objectives and have no fighters

Actually yes, you can play Conflict by yourself against the AI. It's how I practiced and learned the ropes when I first got the game.

I prefer spawning at base as 'realism' radio guys aren't as useful to how i play anyway, they're rarely in a good position and the constant respawning turns the game into battlefield or call of duty taking away from Arma's 'reinsertions' we shouldn't be able to star trek ourselves into the middle of a field. just give us the helicopter transports and do away with the magical spawns alternatively, they could make a special vehicle that enables player spawns and call it a Mobile HQ lol. I happily do supply runs, like many others would happily taxi troops to and from bases in a helicopter. when everyone takes responsibility in conflict the game is much more enjoyable. Even if you don't like driving a truck, when you die, just fill up a truck and deliver it to a base that needs supplies then continue your pew-pew adventure having contributed. It's not hard, but when everyone thinks someone else will do it, the dream fails cos the team fails. It's as they say, teamwork makes the dream work. If you want to win you got to chip in. I'm on a roll today lol. The proposed changes are neat though, having supplies in all vehicles will make it even easier to achieve what I said above. My friends and I already utilise the trunk space in the jeeps to load them up with ammo, medical and landmines, we park the vehicle in a safe spot and mark it on our maps then run around doing our thing is our designated "AO" and when we die; if we need to change weapons or whatever we have a mobile supply dump because that's how you Arma, with effort... It's not meant to be easy or convenient lol
