ESSSSOOOO!!!! Being a Philly native I am loving this! So many beautiful cultures, colors, and sounds can be found in the good ol 215. Miss this city’s passion so much, residing in Southern California now (Not LA) and it’s hard to find these rhythms out here. Mucho amor y respecto a mi hermanos de Philly!💯✊🏾❤️✨😎

Nice original old school sound it reminds me of my up bringings in the lowa east side of Manhattan Thomson Square park when they used to come out and play wonder if they still do that anymore

I am so digging those congas, I’m not a big fan of synthetic skins but those congas allow the skins to give a nice whole sound, kind of almost sound like buffalo skins...

Old school sound / heard that growing up in S F. CA would go to the beach on the warm days & there would be countless dudes on congas / bongos / & all sorts of percussion instruments with with some good old red mountain wine in the big jugs for motivation / I’m talking about late 60’s / early 70’s. I was in my teens with my older relatives looking for a good time & an occasional FIGHT!!! Haha 😆 lol

Nice! Also good to see some fellow toca enthusiasts. Best drums for the money, especially if you know how to tune and maintain them. Speaking of which, The bongo sound AMAZING!!! (Congas too, as I have the same drums and heads) just the bongo really cuts! what series bongo are those and what is material used for the head up top? Finally, are you tuning to specific pitches and intervals? Great video guys, thanks so much for sharing!
