I have built my 'Familytree' with both living & non-living relatives. I would like to know how to let some one (relative) in same tree to view what I am seeing without violation of individual privacy. Thanks.

Familysearch unfortunately does not have that capability. Your relative has to create their own profile and add profiles of living people and it would only connect to what you can see once they connect to deceased ancestors.

What you are looking for is available if the relative you'd like to allow to view the tree creates their own account on Family Search or in the Family Search Tree App and begins entering themselves and grandparents into their tree. Eventually your two trees would link up as you have a common relative and then your relative would see the same tree as you, but would not be able to see the "private living individuals," because that info is only viewable to the person who input those persons into the tree. Hope that helps! (I'm assuming you input those private individuals.)

My dad's middle name is Sandberg, which he got from his mother, and his mother got it from her father. I bought the name because of my dad.

No one should use this site because their tree can be edited by anyone. Mine has been messed with so many times

It has issues but think of the potential! Don't give up on it yet (but do keep a backup tree somewhere else lol)

Familysearch has allowed others to add incorrect information into many trees, they do not care who they hurt and have even allowed people to change my father's name and have deleted a few of my efforts to alert people. Too late and no one should use this service if they value the truth.

I have not used it much but I think I will focus on key people direct ancestors and maybe some key people that were 1st generation in US . Geni is becoming more like that too, but the collaborators/profile managers seem to have a higher ethics standard than Ancestry and try to enforce ethics/accuracy/support on others.
