Great Video! I hope i can get a response from ya. Question, i lead worship at times and i have 2 singers at most. So for simplicity reasons and money. Could i just use the following set up to get by: Ipad ➡ splitter cable ➡ 2 direct boxes➡ XLR to a big wheeled Bluetooh speaker with xlr ports, mic ports etc. ↕ ➡XLR to 2 channel mixer then get 3 sets of in ears with extension cables to reach the 2 channel mixer and plug in so that we can all hear track and click? then the house can only hear track via bluetooh speaker?

This video was really helpful. The only thing I can say is I think you should rename this video. I almost didnt click on it because the title doesnt exactly make it clear what the video is about. I'm glad I did though because it did help me a lot and i appreciate it. I just hope people dont pass it over because the title is a little vague. Maybe something like "how to separate tracks and clicks in a live setting simplified". Ether way thank you.

So we pre-record our originals (Backing tracks), upload onto the site, then run from my ipad-to a D.I. box-to the mixer. We don't need the click(We don't have a drummer) so i'll probably try just 1 TRS cable, or maybe just tape off the gray end, and only plug in the red(Right) either way this is good stuff guys!!!!

Hello Sir First of all, many thanks for this vidéo. You do a very priceless work for us living overseas like me in Martinique ( french caribbeans) I would like to ask a question about hooking my Ipad with prime App to the house mixing console. Is it mandatory to plug the Ipad to the house console through DI boxes in mic inputs ? Is it possible to plug directly to the console stereo line input without DI boxes ? Many thanks Jacques
@loopcommunity
@loopcommunity 4 жыл бұрын
If you have Prime running near enough to your console that you can run the lines directly into the board, you can do this, but often, going through direct boxes provides more flexibility and provides easier accommodation for long cable runs.

You can change tempo and key from right within the app. Also, Loop Community has a wide variety of worship tracks available for you to use in your setlists! Otherwise, you can upload custom audio to the Prime Cloud for use in the Prime app. Head to loopcommunity.com to learn more!

Question: For live streaming, we use the sound directly from the sound board (Allen Heath Qu-32) and we use in ear mixers (Allen Heath ME500). How do I keep Click and Cue from bleeding into the livestream mix? Thankfully it doesn’t come through the house but it can be heard in the livestream in the background.
@loopcommunity
@loopcommunity 4 жыл бұрын
Most commonly click bleed is the result of improper gain staging at your board. Lower the gain levels of your click and cues line and see if this helps with the bleed!

@@dominicpolverino2644 Then there must be an issue with how its being routed. Without having that specific board to test, I would recommend double checking the routing of your click and cues to make sure that they are being sent to the house mix within your board, but not the stream.

Loop Community they are being sent into the house mix so I guess the problem is the way we route the stream. We use OBS and our board is an Allen Heath Qu-32 Digital. Click-track, while being able to operate in perfect tempo and synchronize lights etc, it yet remains static, unbending and in-organic to expression unlike the Holy Spirit. It can also become an excuse to exclude any number of skilled and sincere musicians who desire to be involved in the process of Holy Spirit lead worship. Being replaced by a machine, can the Holy Spirit be pre-set through use of technology? Is it more important to keep in step with a machine or the Holy Spirit? The Holy Spirit cannot, should not and will not be pre-set. Technology can improve performance, but can it lead worship? The key word is performance. Is worship about, performance or the lead of the Holy Spirit? Surely only the Holy Spirit can enable people to lead worship. Worship is not a performance. It is giving thanks and praise to our Lord God by following the lead of the Holy Spirit. Can music be felt when using click-track? Technology can, however, be a useful tool with the right motivation. Say for instance, when used during practice sessions or learning a new song. However, surely songs need to be open spontaneity. For example, just because a song is rehearsed at 145bpm or 74bpm, doesn’t mean it will work best at that tempo when used with the congregation. Maybe during practice night, a song is rehearsed to start big with an electric guitar intro, but come Sunday, it seems right to start with just the acoustic guitar and vocals. What if, halfway through the song, the leader feels they should slow it down? What happens to the click-track then? Therefore, shouldn’t control of a song be left to the Holy Spirit? Should we highly value the Holy Sprit’s spontaneity in worship? Those un-rehearsed moments when anything can and will happen. Spontaneous, cannot have a pre-set tempo. Therefore, while click-track may be appropriate for musicians focused on singing worldly songs, or for practice, has it any value in anticipating Holy Spirit spontaneous, moments of exuberant praise or intimate worship? Does using click-track immediately tell us worship is focused more on the songs? Does it focus on the song and neglect anything that the Holy Spirit might potentially want to express during and between songs? Should songs always be played and sung how they are written, or should the Holy Spirit be ‘given licence’ to re-arrange them in meeting the needs of the moment? Can technology become an ‘end in itself’, a way to ‘keep up’ with society, and exclude the Holy Spirit? Can worship become just a human expression? Is being ‘boxed-in’ probably the best way to describe worshiping to an electronic metronome? Ultimately, should worship be about expression through the Holy Spirit, or a machine's accuracy? Should we be against technological advances? Or should we evaluate our motivation for click-track? Is it fit for the purpose in Church corporate? worship?
