I love this editting. Catnap playthroughs are always 1-2hours long because of tiring and redundant puzzles after puzzle. However, this video cut through all that, keeping the scenes needed for enough context for first time watchers. I like Poppy Playtime, especially chapter 2, but this chapter was just insufferable and frustrating but this video and editing made it seem so watchable and viewer friendly.

That breaking bad edit was so clean I was trying to figure out how they got away with putting it in the game...

It really fascinates me what people's idea of what is Scary and what isn't. I think Connor not being scared has a bit to do with lack of immersion in the game(talking to chat and such) also, he's just doesn't take anything seriously when it comes to video games.

I follow the Poppy chapters for the speedruns, and this chapter is leagues in production value. But, I think I like Chapter 2 the best. It's not that long, and each section Mommy is just actively trying to fuck you over. In here, it's like Chapter 1 where the antagonist isn't someone you speak with but it's prolonged in a way that I don't prefer. Each act feels disconnected in some way. The scariest is chapter 1, my favourite and the best is chapter 2. I go to horror games not to get scared but to look for certain character dynamics that are present only in horror games. Ideally games that are like RPGMaker horror games where there is usually a good deuteragonist, or the antagonist is a character you actively see. In horror games, characters that are just guiding you along the way is not something I like unless they are the antagonist and we know they are in some way. Ollie might be the prototype, idk, but I don't like Ollie. Poppy could've been a deuteragonist but she decides to just sit back and not join us, and I feel like that was a missed opportunity. Best moment in this chapter was the boss fight actually, that goes hard. It'll be pretty hard to top that in the next chapter. The hour of joy also goes hard. The thing I like the most in this chapter is how everything in the engine itself runs better, but there's a chance you probably don't even recognise it. Either way, I'm looking forward to Chapter 4. As much as the devs had done some cringe stuff, the production quality is always there.

I can't blame him for not being scared by this game. Everything is scripted down to the death animations, so it's all very predictable. And the only real scares are just jumpscares. Predictability automatically makes things less scary.

My favourite horror game, well, it's a visual novel, but 1 scene is something like that but it's a package instead of a letter. And realising the package exists, and the process of realising what's inside it without opening it is genuinely 100% the most scared I've been in any media period. There's no chaser chasing me, no jumpscare, just a truth I don't want to acknowledge. It is like, I've never been that scared like EVER. PT didn't make me feel this way though I do like PT as well. To those who will ask, it's "nanami's phone scene" from "Chaos;Head". Joey said the anime of it is mid and I agree, but the visual novel is not that long so I'd just honestly recommend it just for that 1 scene.
