You should try League of Ireland. It has two divisions (10 teams) It also has UEFA champions league and Europa league Quarter rounds. Also some stadiums such as Tallaght Stadium (Shamrock rovers) Aviva stadium (Cup finals) Brandywell Stadium (Derry City Also it's a new stadium) Are really good stadiums. BUT.... The season in Ireland Runs from February to to late October, (November there is playoffs for 2nd division

Luck = Opportunity meets Preparation. A phrase I learnt more some 20 years ago and it continues to be one of my key drivers. I love your technical contents as much as the other stuff that makes your channel so real. You don't talk about how good you are, or feel the need to step on others to elevate yourself. You talk about the hard work, commitment, improvements, and you live and breath it. Any club would be blessed to have such a professional in their team. Nice one staying positive Con. Must be a really weird situation to find yourself in? I know many people who still don't know when they will be able to go back to work etc, I've been quite lucky that my job has been going all the way through so far. Wish I could kick as well with my left foot as you do. Sometimes with back passes I get quite good distance and accuracy with it, but a Goal kick from the floor or hands, forget about it... 🤣 It's just embarrassing! All the best as always, Jim.

hey con, if you find yourself in mid to late august without a contract, I would recommend playing in the ireland 2nd tier, semi pro, but you can make good money, and if you perform in the november playoffs, you could get promoted or get snapped up buy a 1st tier side (hopefully you sign a contract sooner)

I’m UEFA B GK coach with experience of coaching at youth pro academy and also in senior non-league at step 2 & 3 for over ten years. My advice would be to play games at a good level - step 3 which is not too high. You’ll be looking at playing every game of the season. Go in higher, you will be found out and dropped like a stone. Get your experience by playing games. That’s how you make a name for yourself in football. GKs come out of premier league u23 teams and struggle at step one of non-league. Where are they now. Floundering. Set your sights lower and get playing. The money won’t be huge but find the right club and you’ll earn good pocket money. I know GK agents. They’ll tell you the same thing. TheReeflover I completely agree on the importance of games, it’s something I’ve focused on, with 150 games in the last 5 years across England/Spain/Gibraltar. I’m lucky to have experienced different levels across different countries, and I'm still looking to play and progress wherever the opportunity is.

Another positive is that clubs may be looking for the free agent options as they have lost out on revenue which could have been used for transfers! I definitely think you'll have a club come next season

Plenty of teams in Scotland are very open to trialling players especially at league 2/ lowland league / Highland league. I believe Bonnyrigg Rose in the lowland league are looking, they are a ambitious club and has promotion denied last season due to coronavirus. Maybe you could get in contact with them or other teams up here

if you are looking at overseas options then Australia might be good. Probably not A-League but NPL would be a great start. Teams are always looking for goalkeepers

You should go to Norway! 1div or 2div. a club called Fredrikstad if (2div) or Sarpsborg (1div) needs a keeper

Canada is a fantastic place to live! The league is the official top league of the Canadian football pyramid, and some of its teams even beat some MLS teams in the Canadian Championship (our domestic cup) this past year. The league has a couple of English managers too; for example, the best team in the league Cavalry FC has a nearly fully English technical staff and a goalkeeping coach who played for Cardiff City and coached the likes of Jussi Jääskeläinen and Adrián at West Ham

Call up Bonnyrigg rose 2nd in the lowland league last year in their first season, one league below league two in Scotland

Try to find a team in Slovakia. Fortuna Liga is called our 1st league.. And you ahve also chance of getiing into Europa League also..
